I was solo for a day in Ushuaia and wandered down to the port, the fellow at Tres Marias was the first to chat with me, although my Spanish was non existent he brought me in the kiosk and showed me pictures and gave me...More
I had just a couple days in Ushuaia and I picked Tres Marias' sailing yacht "if" for an afternoon sailing trip. What a win! The Tres Marias people are wonderfully helpful (in English, which alas is the only language I speak), the trip is lovely,...More
We had a wonderful time on this excursion. The boat landed on H Island, and we had about an hour guided tour of the island. We were also able to get closer to the sea lions than the larger boats, which was wonderful. The guide...More
An absolute must-do while being in Ushuaia. The tour is small, 12 people max, so there is more personal attention compared to huge other boattours with boats filled with 100+ people. Plus, you get the change to walk around on one of the islands in...More
We did this trip on quite a windy afternoon; the boat is quite small, so if you prefer something bigger, bear this in mind. However, we found the small number of people very good, it was much more congenial. The cormorants and seals were great,...More
Approximately 4 hour cruise in a motor boat with guide Cristian. Excellent views of the mountains, sea lions and bird life, plus an interesting walk and commentary on H island. Not cheap, but worth the expense!

We sailed around the Beagle Channel and visited some islands on the sailing boat "If..." This was a really wonderful and unforgettable experience. Sailing out of the Beagle Channel was amazing. Our guide was very enthusiastic and had lots of information...
We loved our time spent on the boat. First of all, it's a small one and can only fit about 10-12 people which makes the experience more personal. The guide is really passionated about nature and knows a lot about it - he had so...More
We took the afternoon boat tour with Tres Marias and loved it. The weather was great and we had a great few hours with our guides and skipper - only 12 people on the boat and it was a lot of fun. Saw lots of...More
Hi Jenny! Yes what Romola is saying is correct. It's definitely not impossible. On the island you make a couple of stops and you continue the walk again.. There is absolutely no rush so you can take your time with the walk... More
Hi Jenny! Yes what Romola is saying is correct. It's definitely not impossible. On the island you make a couple of stops and you continue the walk again.. There is absolutely no rush so you can take your time with the walk. It's totally worth it the extra pesos for this trip as they are the only ones to stop at this beautiful island. Enjoy!!
