We were scheduled to sail to the Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctica on New Years Eve 2019 when our cruise operator ceased operations, leaving us stranded. Sarah at Freestyle jumped on it and soon found the last remaining berths on small expedition ships leaving within weeks of our original schedule. She even managed to obtain courtesy discounts for our first class accommodations with Polar Latitudes and introduced us to a great fly fishing guide to round out our trip. We can't say enough for Freestyle's intimate knowledge of the Antarctic fleet, great service and warm welcome on arrival. Being based right there in Ushuaia gives Sarah and her team a distinct advantage in taking care of their clients. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I was in contact with Freestyle Adventure Travel for a cruise to Antarctica and I must say Sarah and Gabie did an amazing job. From welcoming the travellers (they were here and so helpful at every step in the process before leaving) to the information given, their presence, their kindness, everything was so easy and reassuring thanks to them. They gave me excellent advice regarding what is indeed "the cruise of one's life", I warmly recommend them. I was in contact with other agencies in Ushuaia but Freestyle Adventure Travel was the most efficient and responsive. I hope I'll have soon an opportunity to sollicit them again, I can't wait and it will be with pleasure.

I was pointed towards Sarah and Marie at Freestyle by a number of different people on a South American Travellers forum I signed up to before arriving in South America. They all said the same thing about the helpful team at Freestyle, offering great advice about the different Antarctic ships on offer, the options available, size of boat preferred (or recommended) and savings you could benefit from by going late.
I got a good deal with a wonderful vessel - the Hebridean Sky - which also had an amazing crew and a fantastic expedition team. We spent 5 days on the peninsula and got to see some amazing wildlife while being treated to fascinating lectures on geology, biology, history and more. This was certainly a once in a lifetime thing to do, and I'm really pleased I got pointed towards Freestyle Adventurers. They'll certainly find you the best deal possible if you want to see the White Continent!

I'm so incredibly grateful for Freestlye Adventure! They were so unbelievably communicative and sent us amazing deals with enough time to get decent flights and get there without stress. Our trip to Faulklands, S. Georgia and Antarctica was an absolute highlight of 9 months around the world, and it was only possible because of the deal Freestyle found and how much they helped us understand our options and plan. Somehow they responded faster and with more details than every other (presumably larger) agency we worked with, but then when we were there, their small size made it feel like we were family: they helped us navigate Ushuia, helped us find a place to store our luggage, gave us pants and gloves and a hat and a buff (such a money saver), and celebrated our Antarctic engagement with us!

It is not an understatement when I say that Sarah from Freestyle Agency has been an absolute help and dream, and indispensable to our booking of this once in a lifetime tour to Antarctica & South Shetlands (March 2023). We were very lucky to be alerted by Sarah of a great deal for a 10-day cruise trip, and booked the slot with her in literally 1-2 days. She was immensely helpful and prompt in answering all of our logistical questions and general enquiries (which we had a lot of as 2 females from Singapore), and made herself available via WhatsApp and email.
Sarah even went above and beyond by loaning us Freestyle gear and providing us with merch even as our chartered cruise flight’s timing clashed with any opportunity for us to physically go to their Ushuaia location; and she kindly sent it to the ship prior to our embarking!
Sarah really and truly made booking, facilitating, and undertaking this journey so, so much smoother and easier, and we are so glad we did this through Freestyle! Was recommended to Freestyle by a friend who had gone on a trip with them several years ago, and will definitely continue to recommend them to others for years to come too! :)) Thanks so much Sarah for all your kind help and brilliant expertise!

We are so happy to have found Freestyle Adventure Travel when we were searching for trips to Antarctica. They are responsive all the way from the initial searching and planning through to the point you embark on the ship. They are knowledgeable about the various companies, ships, and types of trips, and they are so friendly and easy to work with. We emailed back and forth with them for nearly a month, and they got us set up with the perfect trip. As a bonus, they hook you up with free rentals for waterproof pants and gloves, which was useful for long-term travelers, like us. We're so happy to have met Marie and Sarah and will definitely keep them on our radar when we set our sights on the Arctic!

A fantastic agency from start to finish. We travelled to South Georgia, the Falklands and Antarctica through Freestyle and couldn't rate the highly enough. They were first class with the offers they put forward, and even had them before many of the other sites went live with them. This was really helpful as it gave us time and a head start to get the funds together before others could nab the last cabins.
The free rental of waterproofs and gloves is a huge bonus. As we live in a hot weather country the last the thing we wanted to do was spend a ton of money on clothing we would never wear again so this saved us funds as well.
I looked at a few other agencies but ended up unsubscribing from the others. There was really no need. Freestyle's communication was fantastic, regualar, and the deals they sources were better!

We took an Antarctica + South Georgia cruise with Freestyle Adventures in the beginning of 19-20' Antarctica season. They suggested great options, helped to choose, everything was super smooth, we were happy with the discounts they offer for the last-minute deals compared to usual, direct bookings with tour operators. We already had friends who travelled with Freestyle, so didn't expect any money/transactional issues, and they proved to be absolutely reliable for us as well :) So, if you're looking for the last-minute Antarctica bookings, Freestyle offers best experience. And, well, the trip/cruise itself was AMAZING, well worth the time/money! We consider it one of the best decisions in out lives to go for it.

After some research we decided to choose Freestyle Adventure Travel for booking a trip to Antarctica. Sarah, Marie and Gabriel were all so helpful in answering the numerous queries that we had. They are professional, efficient and very friendly and want to make sure that you choose the right trip. Once we were in Ushuaia they made us feel very welcome in their office.

Through Freestyle Adventure Travel I was able to get a HUGE discount on an Antarctica cruise. On top of that, they were an absolute pleasure to work with. They responded to my emails and questions very promptly and even lent me waterproof pants and gloves free of charge. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

What payment plans are there, if any? What perecentage is deposit?

Hello! Thanks for your question.
If you decide to book a trip with Freestyle, the booking process is very straightforward. First, we’ll need your full passport details (a photo works) to “hold” your cabin. Once it’s reserved, a deposit is due to lock in your booking. Deposits vary from 20-30% and are non-refundable. These can be paid by credit card or bank transfer, depending on the operator.
The final payment balance is usually due 90 - 120 days before the trip departs.
For last minute deals, full payment is required at the time of booking. We can only “hold” a booking for 24-48 hours before payment is due. These voyages are payable by credit card and sometimes bank transfer, if time allows.

Hi! Thanks for your consult. If your plan is to join a full cruise expedition, Classic Antarctica trips range from 10-12 days and depart from Ushuaia, Argentina. 8-day Fly Cruise expeditions are more limited during the season but that is also a great option if you want a shorter expedition. These expeditions depart from Punta Arenas, Chile and include a 2-hour flight from Punta Arenas, Chile to King George Island in the South Shetlands from where you join the ship. Trying to decide what would be the best time to visit. We really wanted to see a lot of whale activity. I would like to go in November but February appears to be the best time for whales. So, all you November travelers, how was the whale watching?

During the 2019-2020 season whales were impressively active during the whole season, but based on experience and activity of wildlife the perfect time to have more whales sightings is during the second half of Feb & March. Nevertheless, remember you are in a truly remote place and wildlife can surprise you anytime.
