This is a very grand glacier that we saw from the balcony of our cruise ship. It was quite impressive and very beautiful.

It is easy and not expensive to get to the chairlift, a very slow one, but a nice ride up. We walked down after approaching the glacier. It is a lovely walk with view of the town and cruise ship.

Like many others, we took a taxi to the Casa de Te and hiked up from there to the glacier. The views back to the town and harbor are lovely. It would have been nice to take the chair lift up, but it wan't running....More

Disclaimer: we were at Perito Merino Glacier two days ago in El Calafate; it's amazeballs. Take a taxi or drive up the hill to Casa de Té, park, and start walking! It takes about 45min-1hr to get to the viewing point for the Glacier; all...More

This is a nice place to go while you are in Ushuaia, and it is free if you walk all the way up. The views over the Beagle channel are stunning, and well worth the trip there. It is much smaller than for example Glacier...More

We hiked up the pit of season ski hill to the glacier. The view along the hike is breathtaking. You can drink the water running down the mountainside.

If you got a few extra hours and you need some exercise this is a nice little hike. It does not take too long to get up, like maybe 1 - 1,5 hours. There is a small hike to a viewing point as well. The...More

Short and easy walk for all ages, could be a little bit windy. This 'treck' offers a nice view on Ushuaia, airplane landing, and even canal beagle when the sky is clear.

We decide to go off the beaten track when we heard of this spot. The only thing was that we were not informed that the slopes had been closed due to low snowfall. When we got there we saw the sign that said "Clausrado" which...More

The drive up here is an experience in itself. At the top there is an overpriced tea shop and a steep, wide track that you hike up - the views are amazing, but there is not a lot here to fill your time.
