Overview
More
The Andean Crossing is an international touristic adventure, in which travelers navigate the Andes Mountains through three wonderful lakes, connected by four land stretches connecting the cities of Puerto Varas in Chile and Bariloche in Argentina. This route is an unforgettable experience full of magic and history. We kindly invite you to enjoy the landscapes of unspoilt nature, where the glaciers have been leaving an amazing geographic footprint for thousands of years. What began as a business route today is one of the most demanded routes of the Chilean-Argentinian Patagonia: 180 kilometers enjoyed by 30 thousand travelers every year. Feel like a true pioneer and revive the route used by the first inhabitants of the Patagonia more than 400 years ago!

If you like experiences, and seeing as much of a region as possible in one trip, I recommend the Cruce Andino excursion. Our family of 4 (adults) used this crossing to start our Patagonia trip. We left from San Carlos de Bariloche and stayed one...More

We travelled to Puerto Varas from Bariloche on the one day tour. It was a long day but the scenery was worth it. The buses and boats were well maintained and comfortable. The lunch stop was extremely pricey and the food was not great. There...More

Highly recommended. One warning, you need to register in person or by email one day in advance both going and coming, and the outfit is not good on confirming details and such. Try to nail everything down before you show up. And check the weather...More

This tour is not for people like me who are sensitive to excessive noise and intrusion and like to commune with beautiful natural surroundings in peace. On every leg of the journey, a tour guide or recorded message jabbers away at you in both English...More

The trip between Bariloche and Puerto Varas was well organised and went smoothly. The trip across the lakes and mountains is very beautiful and much nicer than sitting on a bus to get between the destinations. I would definitely recommend the trip.

Already the mandatory and inconvenient checkin the day previous to the trip presented us with unfriendly staff and little and unnecessary information. The same tickets were handed out the next morning again. We had to wait 40 minutes inside one of the buses before starting...More
