I had a very pleasant experience when I paid a visit to Patagonia Vinos this week. Jorge and Anabella were very happy to chat about wine, hugely knowedgeable about the great wines produced in Argentina. This shop has a bit of everything, including some hard to find labels like Cocodrilo (from Viña Cobos, one of my preferred). I look forward to stopping by again in my next visit to Bariloche!

Patagonia Vinos is a fantastic wine shop and so much more. Anabella and her staff were amazing during our multiple visits. The staff is very knowledgeable of the multitude of wines in Argentina and made recommendations in response to a wide variety requests from our large group (e.g., boutique/low production, best value, drinkable now/in five years, best representation of a region, etc.). They also did a fantastic job of packaging each of the wines for the trip home. We were so impressed that we scheduled a group tasting of several different types of Argentinean wines later in the week. This is a great way to narrow down the wines to squeeze into your suitcase for the flights home. Wine lovers visiting Bariloche should definitely make time for a visit (or several)!
