Havana's Coffee shop - great views, terrible coffee
Feb 2020 • Couples
We have visited Havana coffee shop in different cities around Argentina and have always loved their coffee. This location had beautiful views from the coffee shop at the end of the museum, but the coffee was so watery and tasteless. The service was basic and not worth spending money on coffee here. Maybe just stick with the chocolate experience.

Opinión sobre el Havanna Museo del Chocolate

This is the old FENOGLIO premium chocolate factory.
As fans of chocolate .... I find this tour does not worth it, the fee to enter is very accessible but just do it if you have no plan B with kids.
During the tour they offer the history of chocolate & a mini cup of hot chocolate.
You can see the factory through the glass, and a brief exhibition of old chocolate jugs, and animals made of chocolate, memorabilia of the brand and at the end the showroom to buy chocolate & Havanna products.

undewhelming tour

we expected a longer and better tour of the place. We waited for 15 min and just saw like 3 rooms. Maybe because this brand is really from another place of the country or Idk. The café is ok but really the place is not outstanding, just another regular havannah café of the standar ones you can find on the streets.

Could be so much better

The place has potential. The chocolate factory should be the main attraction. The tour is a recap of the history of chocolate, which is interesting, but it has a weak ending. Definitely NOT for kids, and the host was quite rude.

Not open yet. The lie with the business hours
Oct 2019 • Couples
There is a sign at the entrance saying it would be open by 10 am. It is already 11 am and so far nobody has showed up. A few people are waiting outside, frustrated... Like me...

Very interesting tour!

It's worth the time to take the tour. You'll get 50% of it back in credit at the shop so it's worth it.

It's something to do

I didn't find this tour to be particularly riveting. The guide only spoke Spanish and our tour guide had to translate for us which probably made us all less interested. We did get a free sample of hot chocolate which was lovely but very sweet. Probably the most interesting thing was the large all chocolate models of animals including the Andean Condor. Other than that, it was just a way of feeding you through to their retail store.

Lovely Free Hot Chocolate!
Mar 2019
Very cheap tour and only takes 25 mins. Takes you through the process of making chocolate and history behind some of the countries who make it.
Thy also provide you with free hot chocolate which was lovely. Worth a visit even if a little far from central.

Basic History on the Company's Chocolate Venture
Feb 2019 • Couples
I guess that is the key to this museum- its focus is about the company's chocolate venture. Our guide's knowledge was limited to some chocolate history and that of its company. I asked whether it was true that Belgian Chocolate was the best in the world, she had never tasted it nor could she comment on this topic. But, there was pictures, movie, view of the facilities, taste of hot chocolate, and view of the internal facility where the chocolate is made. They had some very fine china in exhibit. And, at the end, a chocolate store.
