A quaint way to end a day on the circuito. A welcoming ambiance. Almost like visiting a friends home. We had some great tapas that we shared as a group and several pitchers of their brew. Even for those who don’t enjoy beer will find a beer to enjoy.

Have fun finding this family owned place nestled in the National Park alpine area. Reward yourself when you do. The beer is very good...light beer not so much though. Food is very good and the ambiance is rustic as it is a converted barn. Watch your head if you are tall! Take a tour of the small backroom brewery and listen to the brewer's talk in his quite interesting english. This is a good visit after hiking miles of trails through the park. We loved it and you will too. You can see the brewery in the Netflix "Andes" Part 1.

Apparently the Gilbert family was given land in the 1800s and they have occupied it since. Tom has become the master brewer and they have developed a neat tasting and munchies establishment.

Combination brewery tour and a late lunch. The tour was done well and highlighted the 1516 Bavarian Purity Law that they follow. Lunch featured a lamb stew with plenty of lamb and was not overcooked.

We stopped here as part of our OAT travel. Loved the hike followed by the lunch at Gilbert Brewery. The food was very good and the beer even better after a warm day of hiking. Keep your eye out for the 2 condors flying over the lake in this area.

It was very interesting to learn how artisanal beer is made in Patagonia. Our lunch was tasty, and we tried both a light and a dark beer. The location is beautiful and the family is friendly and welcoming. If you are visiting Bariloche, be sure to visit this cervezeria.

Enjoyed an afternoon beer tasting at Gilbert's. Sampled an IPA, a pale ale, and a dark beer. The IPA was most to my taste.

Had an assortment of appetizer foods that were interesting and delicious.

The decor of the place is rustic with tons of old beer bottles and stickers.

It was a fun afternoon diversion!

Our group had a wonderful beer tasting and lunch at this picturesque artesanal beer brewery. The various beers were delicious as was the lunch. The owner/manager gave a presentation on a history of the company and the way the beers were created. In all, it was a very enjoyable event.

Had a beer tasting with a charcuterie, or antipasto, platter that was most enjoyable. We each then picked the beer we licked most, and had a glass. The brewers gave us a lesson in production of the different types of beer that they make, and the types of grains used in each.
