Hello. I went out with on a trip a few weeks ago and there was many different details that went wrong and definitely can’t enjoy what we should. Starting from a late pick up by the guide, continuing with the only choice of refilled bottle of water to drink all day with no confidence and the river destination change on the last minute without an explanation. Sorry, you can do it better.

Thank you very much for leaving us your review, it is very much appreciated. All our trips include soda, beer, and water, as well as organic wine during lunch. We use bottles that are sterilized and filled with mineral water as we are committed to the environment and do not want to generate plastic waste. We always try to give our guests the best option, sometimes the rivers get flooded, and sometimes the forecast indicates wind or too much heat for fishing and we have to change the trip. We couldn't find any river changes in our records in the last few months. To continue improving, it would be helpful if you could send us your name and the day of your trip to info@troutbariloche.com Thank you for you time! Camila & Medina Family.

Great guide, beautiful river, plentiful trout. Our day drifting the Limay was productive and insightful. Juanito our guide took his time providing my wife with excellent casting instruction and took his time putting us over many good holds. Aside from that the river is beautiful and the weather was perfect. Juanito was also a font of local information and we had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had the best experience with Trout Barilcohe on an overnight camping trip on the Rio Manso. During the research and booking process, Camila was incredibly helpful and quickly responsive on options for us, given on our timeline. She organized the perfect trip for us on the Manso, as my wife had never fished before. Camila was communicative up until the day of departure, and provided us a list of packing items, what to expect, etc. We were picked up at our hotel by our guide, Juanito, right on time in downtown Bariloche. Juanito then drive us about an hour and 20 minutes to the camping site by the river, which was absolutely incredible. They had a hot tub, a well kept tent with comfortable mattresses, a toilet, and warm showers. We couldn’t believe how nice the setup was with it being so remote! Juanito was a fantastic guide. He told us what to expect on the river, and gave my wife and I casting lessons (and advanced casting for me) so we were prepared to catch fish... and boy did we. The Manso doesn’t hold the biggest fish, but for what it doesn’t have in size, it makes up for in numbers and beauty. My wife and I landed about 50 fish on dry flies over our two day trip, and were surrounded by gorgeous scenery while pulling them in. Juanito prepared gourmet stream side lunches accompanied by cold beer and wine. It doesn’t get better than what we experienced. At the camp, Gabriel (nicknamed “Chinche”) catered to our every need. He made delicious dinners and breakfast, poured all the wine we wanted, and made sure no detail was left unnoticed. He made sure the hot tub was the perfect warmth, made sure the lights worked in the tents and bathrooms, made sure the fire was stoked when we arrived from fishing, and ensured sure our food was cooked and seasoned to our liking. My wife and I agreed that Juanito and Chinche made the experience. The scenery and fishing were both fantastic, but their hospitality and friendliness was what put the trip over the top. We will definitely be back for another trip with Trout Bariloche, and will specifically request that Juanito and Chinche be a part of it. Thank you for a fun and memorable trip that we will never forget.

The city of Bariloche has become one of my favorite places. I never had the desire to visit South America, and this exceeded all my expectations. I've been angling for about 5 years now, fly fishing in particular. I wanted to do a solo trip and decided to move forward with Trout Bariloche as Camila was very responsive. Juanito was my guide for a 3 day trip, 2 days on the Manso with camping and 1 day on the Limay. It was by far the most amazing time ever with the best views. As you know, fishing and learning new techniques on a new river can take time, Juanito was knowledgeable and VERY PATIENT. I caught 16 fish the first two days and about 5 on the Limay. I've never used streamers and that's when I caught the big guy! Juanito is a great teacher and not to mention a great cook! As a solo traveler who does not speak Spanish, I was definitely nervous. However, fishing and being in the outdoors is a language that if you know it, you know it. Chi Chi was entertaining and very helpful and fun when we were camping. Everyone had made me feel comfortable and felt that we made a really nice friendship. Overall, I had a blast and will be back!

The guys at Trout Bariloche love what they do, and who can blame them?! Stunningly beautiful, crystal clear river, dropping through steep canyons and loaded with hungry, strong rainbows and browns. From the reservation process to the pick up, the instructions geared towards varied skill and experience levels, the onsite prepared lunches, dinners, and the top notch accommodations, literally every detail is considered. My 12 year old son and I had an absolutely fantastic, bucket list time fly fishing Argentina. We caught a ton of fish, vastly improved our skills and enjoyed every minute of it. We’re beyond appreciative of the staff and guides, and can’t wait to return. Best trip ever!
