The best rafting experience I had so far, both because of the astonishing environment as well as the excellent guide leading the tour (Sebastian). One step ahead of any other rafting company I hired before.

Ten of us signed up for the Manso rafting trip and were not disappointed. All around great time. The guides are very thorough and safety conscious. After the rafting, some time spent on a lovely farm enjoying a wonderful meal under a shaded grove topped it all off. Highly recommended.

The excursion starts out in Bariloche followed by a drive for about 1.5 hours through some lovely scenery. The base for the rafting is located on a beautiful farm where you stop for a coffee and a snack before getting your kit on and driving again to the river. They can do the excursion in Spanish or English with about 4-6 people in the raft. It starts in a calm part of the river to get everyone used to the commands. The rapids are really fun! It is a definite adventure. It is likely that a few people at least will fall in! On our trip the other boat hit the rocks and the raft broke! Apparently this was the first time this had happened in 15 years! There is also a part where you can jump in the river if you want to float for a bit- recommended- cold but fun! When the rafting ends (on the border with Chile) you have to walk up a very steep hill (still in your wetsuit) up to where you meet the van. The van drives back to the beautiful farm where you can (for an extra cost) have a barbecue or pasta lunch and some beers/wine. The barbecue was not the best - slightly over done, but probably because we took longer due to all of the drama with the punctured raft! The rest of the food was great and the setting is divine. There is an opportunity to buy the go-pro footage and pictures from the rafting for about $20. We thought it was worth it so bought the footage, which they can transfer or load onto your phone (if it’s android). All in all, a brilliant trip. Not for the feignt hearted but worth the money for a great adventure.

I have rafted before but never been so challenged or as well instructed. Would highly recommend - we went at the end of November when there was a lot of water so be prepared to get wet and have an amazing time!
