I had skied before in the U.S. In steamboat Colorado and Taos New Mexico and for real.... Nothing compares to the views you can have from the mountain in Bariloche, there were amazing! Also you have the options to eat in several lift points really good blue and red trails I don't think it's good for your first time skiing

I was surprised by how big and modern Cerro Catedral was. The base has a full shopping "mall", lots of places to eat around the mountain, lots of ski-able terrain and the most spectacular views I have ever seen while snowboarding. The runs are challenging - narrow and steep even at blue level. The views as you are skiing are stunning. Don't come in July and early September- August is best. If you need... More

We took almost two hours to get on the top. Try not going during the students vacation because they are always in group (more than 200 persons). Take your food with you.

We spent 4 days on the slopes at the end of July. Only 3/4 of the mountain was covered in snow at this time. The bottom was not (but that was for super beginners). Lifts take you down the last portion. There were many lifts to all parts of the mountain and the trails were easy to read on the... More

Cerro Catedral is a nice place for adults and kids. It offers skiing lessons, good restaurants and a shopping. The activities are for beginners and also for experienced skiers.

We got the excursion circuito chico and cerro catedral We paid in advance but they do not tell you that the entrance to the chairs and the gondola is a separate price of $35.00 dollars. So I kept walking around, some stores don't accept credit card so better have enough cash with you., BUT BESIDES THAT WE GOT THE FIRST... More
