We got the excursion circuito chico and cerro catedral We paid in advance but they do not tell you that the entrance to the chairs and the gondola is a separate price of $35.00 dollars. So I kept walking around, some stores don't accept credit card so better have enough cash with you., BUT BESIDES THAT WE GOT THE FIRST... More

This throwback of a 'ski-resort', if it's even possible to classify it as such, should be closed permanently and relegated to the dustbin of history. Evidently their monopolistic grip on skiing in this region stems from some form of nebulous 'arrangement' with the local authorities, there can be no other logical explanation for how such obviously outmoded, poorly-maintained, rusty and... Great resort to ski. Lots of slopes, different levels. Good for beginners also for advanced or expert skiers.

Several of the stores on this place do no accept credit cards. What year is this? Also, sleds are forbidden on this park, but this does not stop the storekeepers to try to sell or rent you one. If you did not rent a car, you'll have take a cab our wait an eternity for the bus to arrive. The... More

15 km from Bariloche city, you can take bus line, cheaper; taxi, half day tours... In summer you can hike, mountain bikes, or just go up to top by chairlifts and enjoy beautiful sights of the Andes and lakes. If you like skiing, it's a place to enjoy!!! Wild, rough, woods, creeks, and some pistes for skiing!!! Nice places up... More

We were here before there was enough snow for skiing, but there was just enough for kids to sled a bit. We went up to see the views and touch some snow and we were not disappointed! The views and chair lift ride were well worth the off-season lift ticket.

We have been visiting San Carlos de Bariloche for a decade and Cerro Catedral serves as our home mountain. The access to a wide variety of intermediate to expert terrain makes it a great starting point for nearly all of our Signature Tours. The backcounty access is also unparalleled for this area.

Just a few miles from the town of San Carlos de Bariloche is Cerro Catedral-Alta Patagonia. The resort is the largest in South America and boasts a tram (foot passengers only), a gondola, several high speed quads, a six-pack, and many double chairs. The Mountain has an expansive European style base village with restaurants, hotels, and even a few great... More

A easy flat trek up from Bariloche. The town itself is like any ski town. Supposed to be the Switzerland of South America, so must be pretty damn good to ski there! But a trek from Bariloche is also recommended. Take a bus from the center of town to Playa Bonita and start the trek from there if not too... More
