While the lifts are a little old and slow, the sheer size of the skiing area absolutely makes up for it. Add to that the fantastic Refugio's on the mountain with table service, it doesn't get any better.

Cerro Catedral is the best ski center in south america. Lots of media to get to the top, good attention, good snow!

It's a great place for skiing but you need to be careful with the snowing seasons. In august there tends to be little snow in the base so you cannot ski there, and most of the children attractions in the base are closed.

This is a great place for skiing. The mountain is huge and it is possible to spend various days without getting bored. The only negative part is that it usually gets full with students, otherwise it is very recommended. It has some of the best...More

Cerro Catedral offers some good tracks for snowboarding. The resort structure and lifts is old, needs renewing for the price charged. Worths the visit for sure, views from up the mountain top are amazing. If you get some fresh snow you're gonna have fun.

We went in july, and i thought that everything in there would be working, but there was little snow, and almost everything was closed, kids club closed to. Very disappointed.... should have snow machines and be prepared for those climate surprises.

To do skiing in South America this is for me one of the best areas to do. You can do also a lot more then just skiing because you are in or near Nahuel Huapi National Park

Hi Matt, We were there in the summer and road both liftsa to the very top. All I can safely say is the ski area is huge and seems quite treeless. If there is a back side, we did not go there. Sorry I because there was no... More
