We visited the Bariloche office of Parque Nacional and were assisted by an extremely helpful lady who gave us lots of tips on what walks to do, particularly as there had been a recent heavy snow fall. Worthwhile visiting if going to do any walking.

Hike the Arrayan forest, cinnamon colored trees related to Crape Myrtle take on interesting forms. Touch them to feel the ice cold trunk and branches being high in water content.

Take a hydrofoil from the dock across the road from the Llao Llao Hotel. Excellent trip. Beautiful walk on easy, well tended, wooden walkways and paths through park. Take your time and enjoy the multitude of waterfalls. Bring water and a chocolate bar from Bariloche!
