Diego set us up with an unforgettable trip in Bariloche. We had two days of world class fly fishing, a truly authentic gaucho horseback trip followed by an asado, and a day of hiking that ranks #1 in a very long list of hikes we have done. He had great hotel and restaurant recommendations. He even provided great weather! Diego is a great guy, totally trustworthy, highly dependable, and a treat to spend time with. I can't recommend him enough. Just go!!

I like to combine local touring and sightseeing with our fishing trips. Diego of Magellanica provided a great itinerary and guide for a tour from Coyhaique across the Andes to the coast and back up to the Rivadavia for several days of excellent fishing in some of the most beautiful scenery on Earth. Our guide, Andres, was encouraging, very knowledgable of the region and fisheries, had great jokes, was a great cook and spoke excellent English. We ended up in Bariloche at Los Juncos with a great day of fishing on the Rio Limay. Diego provided a great, diverse itinery, with excellent accomodations and food, great wines!, and wonderful fishing. Provided for a most relaxing and enjoyed trip. Both my son and I are planning to return!

Diego packs a smile into every experience with his tours. When I visited Bariloche in 2010, he helped with every detail: hotel recommendation, rental car, restaurants and tourist highlights. We kayaked on the beautiful lakes and trekked Cerro Catedral - each day was about eight hours - Diego provided the necessary (good quality) gear and a deep knowledge of the area and the sport - which he shares with enthusiasm and pride. He is a professional in all the activities that he leads. Additionally, he set me up with the best local services for rafting (the Manso River- DO IT!) and Mountain biking. He provided guidance on other activities and ideas. This is an incredible part of the world for adventure freaks... No one knows it better than Diego and Magellanica!
