Excellent experience! All the expedition details were taken care of, so, from the moment we landed at the airport and were picked up by Eduardo and Quique, we could focus on the experience of climbing in the Andes. The service was at the perfect level, enough without being excessive. Their knowledge of the route was extensive allowing adaptability to changing... More

We had a great time on our 5 day trekking trip (Glaciers, jungles and lakes) and day of rock climbing with Andescross. The booking process was very easy and Jorge was always quick to answer our questions with helpful responses. The night before we started, Jorge came to our hotel to check all our equipment and prepare us for the... More

I actually booked my rock climbing trip with Andescross just a few days before I was heading to Bariloche. I've been on the road for about a month by that time and wasn't able to book the climbing trip in advance as I was traveling from place to place quite a bit. I emailed Jorge as soon as I knew... I had a great time in Bariloche and went with Andescross to climb in Frey and also ascend Cerro Tronador along with a friend I was travelling with. Jorge is awesome and made the whole experience enjoyable. His love of this beautiful area comes across and he was very accommodating with us, working around the weather (it snowed one night... More

Hands down the best guiding you can receive anywhere. We visited Bariloche from Alaska not knowing what to expect; Jorge was kind enough to lend us sleeping bags, and climbing harnesses & helmets for the duration of our stay. He also led us to arguably some of the best empanadas in Argentina (trust me, we tried a new place everyday... More

I have just got back from the most incredible 8 days of hut-to-hut touring in the surrounding area of Bariloche with Jorge and Andescross. I could not have asked for any more from Jorge - he handled my inexperience with patience and calm (and much needed humour!) and also encouraged the whole group to reach their limits and make the... I booked 5 days ski touring with Jorge and Andescross at the start of August 2015. Jorge is an enthusiastic and fun guy to be around. He quickly assessed my ability as a skier and found plenty of terrain to challenge my skill level. He was always aware of the pace he was setting when skinning and made sure that... More

We took the one day trip from Puerto Varas Chile to Bariloche - It comprises several ferries and bus crossing of the Andes. Long lunch stop at nice hotel on an Island

The crossing is through astoundingly beautiful lakes and mountains. It is very well organised and run.
