I am currently travelling the world on a sabbatical, looking for amazing experiences. During a stop across south america, I wanted to rock climb in the Frey national park, near Bariloche. I found the Andescross team on the internet, and they teamed me up for 3 days with a world class guide instructor. I am a novice rock climber, and... More

Had a wonderful day hiking with Adelina, we were collected from the hotel and guided up the mountain over some reasonably tricky terrain to a mountain hut (complete with cold beer and pizza). Lunch is provided and Adelina taught us about the custom of mate. We loved it!

I have been a client and friend of Jorge for almost a decade. We have skied in Argentina, Chile, Iceland and France. I have skied powder, crust and mashed potato snow with Jorge and have always finished the day with a smile on my face. Together we have completed hut to hut tours, volcano ascents and skied from the high... More

Jorge is fantastic guide, he helped us with all the logistics of our two week trip as well as provided for lots of flexibility for us with all aspects of the trip including terrain, ability level, snow conditions and weather. He truly found us the best powder in Patagonia and was an excellent teacher as well for anything you wanted... More

Andescross arranged weeks ski touring and guiding in the middle of November for me and a couple of my friends. We had an most amazing time - starting off with some hiking around Bariloche and then heading up Mt Tronador, followed by a drive around the two National Parks, down to the Chilean border. Everything was very well organised and... More

Jorge was awesome at communicating and setting up our 4 day guided rock climbing trip in Frey for myself and my wife. Our guide Luciano, was amazing. He taught us so many skills and took us from no experience to summiting Torre Principal in 3 days. It was one of the best things I have every done in my life.... More

We hire Andescross for tree days trekking in Bariloche. The experience amazing. We hike tree mountains in different days. Federico our guide was very nice and patient because we are not in the best conditions for hiking but he plan the days in a way that we manage to do it! First day 5 hours, second day around 7 or... We just got home from a month in Argentina, ending with the 7 day 6 night biking across the Andes. We had an amazing time. Jorge was prompt and thorough in answering all of my many emails and our guides German and Caro were FANTASTIC. Our kids are 10 and 11, it was tough for them but they did it.... More

Our group of 10 people from a Seattle-based outdoor club arranged a custom itinerary with Jorge to cross the Andes from Colonia Suiza to Pampa Linda and from there to Puerto Frias via Refugio Otto Meiling and Paseo de Nubes. Then Jorge helped arrange for some of the group to return via the eastbound Andes Crossing boat to Bariloche and... More
