Spectacular, impressive view, you have to get there from Bariloche, by car, about an hour and a half, the tour is very nice, relaxing. You can have lunch at Villa Angostura, 10 minutes before arriving, and of course go in summer. The water very cold.

Our group of 4 were a little disappointed in the 7 lakes drive. Considered one of the best drives in Argentina perhaps our expectations were too high. If self driving be careful turning right to the lake viewpoints, right hand indicator in Argentina means overtake and had a pretty close call. Use hazard indicators instead. Following day we did the drive from San Martin to Junin de los Andes, onto route 234 to La Ruconada then route 40 to Confluencia. Much more interesting scenery, lots of wildlife including Condors in the canyons. Trun at Confluencia onto route 65 to Villa Traful, spectacular scenery especially in April with fall colours. Have lunch at Villa Traful then onto Villa Angostura.

The Espejo Lake was formed by glaciers, Located in the Province of Neuquen in Villa La Angostura and is part of the Seven Lakes ride.
It gets his name beacause the clean and peaceful waters reflect like a mirror the landsacpe as well as the sky and clouds.
The lake is suitable for children because it is very calm (this does not mean children should be left unattended)
There are bahtroom facilities but no rental of sunshades, so make sure you bring one. If you don´t you will need to get there early to lie down near the trees nor snacks store.
The lake shore is volcanic, or with rushes or rocks.

This is one of the lakes on the ruta de los 7 lagos. Calm waters offer an incredible mirror like view of mountains and rain forest. There are camping spaces and accessible beaches. Ideal for a sunny day since trees surrounding the lake offer a much required respite from the sun

My wife and I had the chance to visit this secluded beach on Lago Espejo. We had the place to ourselves for more than 40 minutes. Only way we found it was because we were on an elevated road (direction to Chile) when we spotted the beach with no people in it. Managed to find our way to it (the GPS in the car helped) and when we walked on to the beach and saw the crystal clear water, we could not believe it was possible that we were the only ones there! We walked around and took pictures and videos and my wife looked for interesting looking pieces of drift wood. Amazing place.

This is one those places I discovered along the way. This is a giant reflecting pool of the Andean mountains and the amazing forest.

Hola
