In this hill, you can walk through the forest and then you find this beautiful waterfall, when you arrive there you can observe the peace of the place. I recomend it!

Pleasant but not worth a detour

Tiles Rose (see below) has got it about right: this fall is pleasant but there are many better falls in the Andes and, although it is worth pulling off the road to visit it if you are going to Cero Bayo, it is not worth a detour.

Just pull off the road

It's pretty and you can walk along a path and get various photo shots. Not a thrill but worth a quick stop as you go past it.

Lovely

Lovely walk through the forest, hard going though, but the waterfall is worth it. This could be a nice stop for a picnic too.

Pretty, short hike & beautiful waterfall
Mar 2017 • Friends
This waterfall is worth seeing. It only takes 5 minutes to walk down to the overlook from the road and another 8 minutes to walk back up to your car. You will be looking at the falls from above and 140 yards/meters across (just like the photo shows).

If you want to do a little more hiking, there is a nice mile long hike to the right 30 meters/yards from the road (heading down) or on the left (when returning back up right before you get to the road). It tis a mountain bike/motocross/hiking trail that takes you toward the Cerro Bayo ski resort.

Slightly disappointing but nice

3 minutes walk from the road to Cerro Bayo this waterfall offers very little WOW. It is nice, but no more than that.

If you like to walk sorrounded with beautiful scenarios, there you go!
Mar 2015 • Couples
It is a one hour and a half walk alongside a beautiful river (Rio Bonito) and sorrounded with nature of all kind.
If you like to walk -but not hours- it is perfect for you! The best part comes at the end.
You will be compensated with the golden cauldron. Which, in this case is the most beautiful beach you will find in Villa La Angostura.
Miles and miles of grey sand (due to volcan activity) where you can walk holding hands with your beau and listening some litlle child laugh with their parents.
This is a spot chosen by locals too. You will see them rumming and playing with their dogs.

Oh, and all this beauty is for free! And, a plus. if you are interested, at the end you could go to a trout hatchery!

The walk won't take more than 3 hours going and back. I am not sure if there are public bathrooms anywhere. Just in case, be psycollogically prepared.

Pretty little waterfall
Mar 2015 • Couples
Just off the road, a easy walk to the overlook. We went just before sunset to enjoy the view from the platforms with pull off spots along the drive to the falls.
