Pomelo Rafting tour operator provided a very professional and well organised rafting day for me and my family. The guides were knowledgeable and fun throughout. We started our tour visiting the beautiful huechulafquen lake with it's indigenous araucaria trees, sadly we didn't get to see the Lanin volcano due to the clouds but it didn't take away from the day one bit. The safety talk was clear and well run, the rapids were of a level 2 and therefore family friendly and great fun. We finished our action rafting experience with great empanadas and mate cocido, a well thought detail. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

We went rafting on their usual trip from their base. While the girl on the phone spoke good English, the guide couldn't. I speak a moderate Spanish, so could follow most of the introduction where he spoke slow. As soon as we were on the water, he shouted in a very fast Spanish, so I didn't understand at all. Another person translated bits for me, but really it didn't work. I also didn't like that they seem to think splashing people aggressively and repeatedly with water is what rafting is about. The guide even splashed water directly at my face and into my eyes from a short distance without any reason. Even if it's not that expensive, there gotta be operators who do better.

Don't holiday in the Seven Lakes area without booking a day out with these guys! The river was perfect for safe family fun, yet exhilarating enough for any action junkie, assuming you're not looking for a constant buffeting down grade 6 rapids, but even if you were, I think you'd still find this fun! What's not to like? Gorgeous views of the Lanin volcano, crystal clear glacial water running through boulder-strewn channels and powering down foaming rapids. There's plenty of fun for kids of all ages to enjoy in the occasional calm ponds where the river widens and the captains organise a few other water-focussed diversions. You get a good safety briefing at the start, a practical tutorial on technique and team discipline, and all the kit you need. If 'discipline' isn't on your holiday vocabulary, the captains wear their authority lightly and ensure that everyone has 100% enjoyment. And back at base you'll get some good Argentinian food and drink and, for a very small outlay, a photographic record of your great day out.

Enormous fun, informative and very well-run tour on a beautiful river. Included safe and fun options to experience the rapids--in the water! Marco, el Colo and Sergio were excellent guides. They took us up to see amazing views of Lake Huechulafquen and the Lanin volcano before we started and ended the day with coffee, tea, juice and the most amazing facturas (pastries) we have had in ages. A highlight of our vacation—not to be missed!

bamboo brasas......las memories cranes de la patagonia.........its a restaurant in the middle of town with view of Main Street that offers delicious food at value for money. I ordered Pollo a la Portuguese con Pure.....Postre y Gaseosa.........its a chicken recipe. They serviced it deliciously cooked with vegetables in a decent size portion along with loads of mash potato. A soft drink of choice and dessert (either a flan or ice cream) with compliments. All at the cost of 230 pesos. I am happy with this treat to my gastronomy at value for money.
