Se utiliza para deportes y también para recitales. Es grande para ser un lugar cerrado (el mas grande en la zona). No resulta muy cómodo para los recitales pero de todos modos es aceptable. Es bastante sencillo y rústico.

Es referencia permanente para los colegios de la zona, ya que presta sus instalaciones para fines institucionales, aunque nunca es suficiente para todos. Es utilizada muchas veces para eventos musicales y, obviamente, deportivos.

Es un estadio cubierto ubicado en la ciudad de Neuquén capital. multipropósito, . Es un lugar relativamente nuevo y es uno de los mas grandes del sur del país. Se usa como cancha de voley, basquet y para espectáculos varios, como recitales.

El estadio Ruca Che es apto para espectaculos deportivos y de bandas de Rock. Cuando esta bien organizado se puede disfrutar en familia.

En Neuquén Capital no hay otro espacio de estas dimensiones y distribución de lugares para disfrutar de un buen espectáculo. Yo asistí allí a los conciertos del Pianista zapalino Raúl Di Blasio, Alejandro Lerner, la presentación del Ballet de Julio Bocca (Tango), el Trío Midachi, recital de Luciano Pereyra y el grupo internacional de percusión Mayúmaná. Tiene una muy buena distribución para visualizar el escenario dónde se lo ubique (tiene gradas removibles y plateas ubicables sobre un protector de la cancha (para presentaciones deportivas) y la acústica es muy buena a pesar de ser un espacio creado para deportes.

Neuquén no tenía un gran estadio. Con la construccion del Ruca Che abrui alternativas a conciertos, eventos deportivos, etc. pero al estado le falta bastante, buenas gradas, iluminación y elevar los estandares para que sea un magnifico estadio
