Searching for whale on a rubberboot at the and of the dat. It was well worth the time and money As we were just passing de seals we saw the whale jumping put of the water. We good come very close to the whale which were most of the time mother and calf.

Our Hotel Recommended this Whale Watching company. We were heading off at full speed to where they expected to find whales when they noticed some bird activity, they diverted to take a look and we saw a frenzy of Dusky Dolphins stirring up and feeding on anchovies, we then went on to several mother and daughter pairs of Southern Right Whales. On the way back to port we went off to get close to a whale givin lovely tail displays. All the time we had aknowledgable and informative english speaking guide at our disposal.

This is a pleasant, non-intrusive way to see right whales in their mating grounds. The boats here are backed into the bay via a tractor, so no big pier intrudes on the lovely natural bay, and the naturalist on the boat probably speaks a language in common with you, starting with Spanish and English, but other languages are available. It is also worth noting that while most people do not stay overnight in Puerto Piramides, it is a good idea to do so. A morning walk on the beach a Puerto Piramides allows the intrepid visitor to hear the whales surfacing (Their exhalations sound like a giant, rusty, iron door grinding on its unused hinges).

I went there in October 2013 and it was the best experience I ever had. I booked a day trip to Puerto Piramides through my hostel but there's a lot of other agencies in Puerto Madryn where you can book your trip. We could get very close to the whales and one of them was swimming under our boat! I recommend to bring some warm clothes and gloves as it can be very windy when boat is moving. You can also watch whales from the beach in Puerto Madryn. They are not that close as when you are on the boat but with standard binoculars you can see them very well. Sometimes due to weather condition all trips are cancelled so please allow yourself at least 2 days for this trip.

I went the end of November to Puerto Piramides to see some whales. It was really the best way to end the beautiful Patagonia! With Whales Argentina S.R.L. you're coming really close to the whales. We even had one half under our boat! The best part is, that with this company you're sitting on a small boat, about 12 meters smaller than a adult whale. Such a great experience! I also really enjoyed the staff! They were really nice and friendly and made the whole trip the best of the day! It's definetly worth the money!! This is a trip what should be on your bucketlist!
