Overview
This is the main experience of Puerto Madryn, you will have the posibility to play with these awesome animals in their natural habitat. The best part about this experience is that the interaction is natural. The animals are not trained, nor fed by us, interaction is all about their curiosity (100% wild life)

The amazing thing is that as we are with them since they born, they are used to us and are really friendly. And this is what makes it a very unique and unforgettable experience

Remember contact us the day before, to confirm weather and strart time of the excursion!

Exceeded all expectations; the small group size, the quality of the equipment, the attention from the guides (Lucio was great and really gave my girls a lot of attention) and the experience with the sea lions.

Hi there My name is Lena and I’ve done a few dives and two snorkeling trips with this company so far. The staff members are super nice and really helpful. They really look after the people and make sure everyone enjoys their time. The wrecks we’ve dived are really beautiful and full of life (sea stars, salmon, snails and if you’re lucky some sea lions. We’ve penetrated all the wrecks (of course you don’t have to if you don’t want to). I am a dive instructor myself and in my opinion you’re in really safe and good hands if you dive with the guys from MadrynBuceo. The snorkels are also really nice, of course you can’t control how many sea lions are gonna get into the water but we’ve always had a few around circling us and playing with us. It’s definitely an unforgettable experience! I am super happy and would really recommend this company to anyone.

This is an excellent experience and we genuinely would have gone twice if we had more time in Puerto Madryn. It’s a family run operation and they strike the perfect balance between an adventure and a safe activity. Don’t be put off by the small boat used for the trip as this ensures that the group is small. There were only 5 in our group which meant we got plenty of supervision and time to see what we wanted. We don’t speak Spanish but Lucio has excellent English and he explained the rules for the park and boat clearly and quickly so that we could move on to having fun as soon as possible. Also I am a weak swimmer but thanks to the quality gear I was more than comfortable in the water. It’s fair to say that even if you cannot swim you would be able to do this as they also provided a large life buoy to hold onto at the start of the swim. Once you are comfortable you can go it alone. Due to winds the night before, the water was quite choppy and the boat was bouncing a bit initially but once we got moving it became clear that there was nothing to worry about as the captain expertly manoeuvred the early waves. We were given the option of a calm location with less seals or a place where the water was rough but there were loads of seals and we all agreed to try for the rougher waters. There was a large group of seals on our arrival both in the water and on the shore and they quickly came out to meet us once we got into in the water. Once we were in the water the seals surrounded us for a closer look. They come incredibly close then vanish in the waves. We didn’t get any good pics or video on our go pro but for an extra $15 we got some brilliant pics and video taken by Lucio, which he sent a couple of days after. All in all an excellent trip and one we would strongly recommend.

Me and my partner visited in the summer and got to see so many baby sea lions! Apparently visiting in the winter means you get to have more sea lions come into the water and play with you because that’s when the babies grow up, but the summer visit was really fun as well. We had one sea lion that kept swimming around us and popping up behind us unexpectedly and making noises to our surprise. It was a lot of fun and it was just nice to have a snorkeling adventure. The whole team at Madryn Buceo was also extremely nice, friendly and professional. Would definitely do it again!
