The best time to visit is from late September to early October during whale season and when the tide is high and that is the best time to visit is free. You can also see them embarking on Puerto Pyramid and navigate with them, this...More

It is known as el doradillo, but it is a set of different 'bajadas' (entrances). Look for the last one, a beach of stones. At high tide, you can see whales at 20 meters...you can be told about it...watch pictures... but being there is undescribable!

If you want to see whales you should go here. We were here in June and it was pretty windy. Whales are hundred meters from the shore it is a unique place.

We never saw whales before, and it was amazing! We rented a car and we saw some whales very very close to the shore. We also took the boat trip which was awesome but expansive: 890 pesos ppl.

We were really looking forward to seeing whales from this beach, however we had no luck :(. It seems towards the end of November, the whales don't congregate in this area much anymore. Still a nice area to visit, but of course kind of disappointed...More

the best option is to rent a car, but you can hire a 'remis' (like a cab or uber service) to take you there..
