When we booked the guided tour to Punta Tombo we didn't know how great it would be. The bus ride to the penguin colony was pretty long, but totally worth it as you get to walk among them in their natural habitat. They are so close you can touch them - but don´t! We got around an hour with the penguins before we went on to see some elephant seals close up at the beach. With the penguins there were a lot of other tourists, but when we got to the elephant seals we were pretty much alone with them. It was really cool being so close to these giants at a maximum of 5 tons. It was a great time to do the tour (start of november) because the elephant seals were lying on the beach, fasting and breeding their young. The road back to Puerto Madrid was kind of bumpy, but not that bad. The next day we went for the Peninsula Valdes tour with the same company. In Peninsula Valdes we got to see a much smaller penguin colony than in Punta Tombo and we saw Elephant Seals, though this time only from far away. At the place we had lunch there were armadillos strolling around in the garden, which were pretty funny. We also saw guanacos, maras and rheas while in the bus. Our final stop was to go whale safari, this was with a another company, but the bus waited on land. The whale safari was awesome, and we got to see the giants up close. All in all these two tours were great and we really recommend Fugutours. Luckily we got Pierina as a guide, a really nice and knowledgeable guide who also speaks English very well. Lastly you should prepare food for the trip and bring warm clothes!

My husband and I made a tour on March 19, 2019. We would like to thank our guide Immanol for a day full of fun and interesting views which we will not forget. Since we were on a long cruise, we had to book well in advance and were not sure if everything would work out with Fugu. But sure enough, Immanol stood at the pier when we arrived, holding a sign with our name in his hand. We were astonished that we had an individual tour, just the two of us and our guide, as this was not clear when we booked. Immanol took care of all our needs and answered our many questions. He drove with us all around the beautiful Valdez Peninsula. And we were lucky enough to see a lot of animals like guanacos, nandus, penguins, armadillos, maras and even an owl which is the only kind of owl worldwide breeding in a cavern in the earth. We definitely will recommend your company to anybody who intends to go into this area. The price we paid was less than the price for a group excursion bookable at our cruise ship. And I bet we saw a lot more, too.

The tour takes like 9-10 hours because of the distance and because of the bad roads. Anyway was a very nice experience seing seelion, guanacos, pinguins and another kind of animals. If you can choose go better during march-april because there are more chances to see whales and orcs. Also better to go with guide.

We booked two tours (Peninsula and Punta Tombo). Our flight was canceled, so we arrived one day later as planed. The agency reacted absolutely flexible and tried everything to show us in quite leas time the same things. A private driver was organized that took us to all important spots. We couldn‘t have imagined more flexibility and motivation. Our driver and guide Hugo was excellent. Thanks a lot for your patience and dedication. If you want perfect service, high flexibility and a tour based on your individual needs, book here!
