Whole quebrada is awe-inspiring but there is a particular magic to this vast natural amphitheatre particularly when someone is playing music. We have now heard guitar, violin, panpipes and a choir here. All breathtaking. We were introduced to this wonderful feature by FiveSensesTraveller.com great travel company based...More

This area is carved out by water flow in the rainy months. It really does have wonderful natural acoustics. It’s an easy short walk from the car park. No admission fee. A few local artists are selling things there but will not bother you.

I wouldn’t recommend making this your sole destination if you’re staying in Salta as it’s a long drive and a quick in/out. Worth seeing if you are on way to Cafayate or just taking a drive to enjoy the scenery. We rented a car for...More

I went on a tour with Nordic and had an absolute blast. The highlight was visiting the amphitheater. We were lucky to have a guitarist hanging out there to demonstrate the natural wonder and what it does for music and sound.

The Anteteatro is a hidden cavern within the Quebrada de los Conchas on the road from Cafayate to Salta. The acoustics are very good and there was a guy playing pan pipes and guitar to demonstrate the acoustics. Also present were a lot of stall...More

This attraction is absolutely beautiful and unexpectedly amusing. I wasn't expecting this encounter with this majestous artpiece of nature. It is unbelievable how nature creates these things. Furthermore, what makes it ever more extraordinary was the singer in the middle of the rocks singing the...More

You MUST stop here on your way to Cafayate from Salta. This is an amazing formation in stone. The acustics are incredible (that's why it is called the amphiteater). There were musicians playing which heightened the experience. This is just a short stop along the...More

Perhaps not quite as spectacular as the next door "Garganta del Diablo", but a must see anyway. Choirs and orchestras have performed her due to the amazing acoustics.

We saw this early and we were the only people there along with a few vendors and a man playing the most beautiful and evocative guitar music, which made the experience very spiritual. Hard to capture its beauty in a photo.
