My friend and I came here with a guide and it was stunning. Really unbelievable and worth the 40min trip from cafayate, especially if you see it along with the garganta del diablo and other rock formations!
while all of the scenery in the quebrada is amazing, i took a special liking to this giant outdoor amphitheater. it's pretty incredible, i can imagine it would be even more incredible to hear music played in the amphitheater.
Whole quebrada is awe-inspiring but there is a particular magic to this vast natural amphitheatre particularly when someone is playing music. We have now heard guitar, violin, panpipes and a choir here. All breathtaking.

I went on a tour with Nordic and had an absolute blast. The highlight was visiting the amphitheater. We were lucky to have a guitarist hanging out there to demonstrate the natural wonder and what it does for music and sound.
The Anteteatro is a hidden cavern within the Quebrada de los Conchas on the road from Cafayate to Salta. The acoustics are very good and there was a guy playing pan pipes and guitar to demonstrate the acoustics. Also present were a lot of stall...More

Furthermore, what makes it ever more extraordinary was the singer in the middle of the rocks singing the...More
