We spent five days traveling through northwest Argentina with Poncho Tours and highly recommend them. We drove north from Salta through the Quebrada de Humahuaca, west (and up!) into the Puna, and then south to Cafayate. All along the way, we encountered amazing sights—from canyons...More

When planning a trip to Argentina I decided to look into the region of Salta/Jujuy since it is reminiscent of some parts of Bolivia, including a village I lived in for a couple years over 15 years ago. I found Poncho tours on Trip Advisor...More

The best decision of our trip was choosing Poncho tours. Nick guided me from the very begining in finalising the itinerary in helping me choose the tour etc. Our whole trip was planned only after finalising the tour from Salta. The day arrived 9 months...More

Tours in North Argentina (4 Replies)
Hello, we were preparing a trip of 3 weeks to travel in the north part of Argetina. Our plan was to tour Buenos Aires, Iguazu, Salta, Mendoza back to BA. We contacted Say Hueque, La Posada, Poncho Tours, Buenos Aires Tours. Say Hueque responded very fast and friendly. We askes to give separate prizes for the different trips, but they never realy did. Their prizes were high and we could only get 10% off. 7 days = 1589 USD per person. Tourismo La Posada was not friendly at all. Reponse...More

Say Hueque is definitely a great, highly recommended provider for many South American tours and packages. Buenos Aires one of the more expensive places to visit in Argentina (and Latin America in general), so the tours are going to be more on the pricey side, but it is well-worth the trip. While you're there, I would recommend a stop in wine country, Mendoza, to make the most of your vacation. Happy Travels, Daniella - Latin America For Less

Shared private Pincho Tours - Puna/Tolar Grande July / Aug (0 Replies)
If anyone is interested in joining myself and my husband on a private tour with Poncho Tours run by Nick please let me know. The tour company has amazing reviews on trip Advisor. It’s cheaper if there are 3 or 4 of us. We are doing the 5 night Puna / Tolar Grande Tour which looks incredible. We will be setting off on 2nd August to Cachi and then Molinos, Hualfin, El Peñon, Angosta de la Sierra, Tolar Grande loop. Having 2 more people will nearly halve the cost of the tour making it very...More
