Feeling active and in need of a bit of adventure on a recent trip to Salta, two friends and I booked a day trek in the Cuesta del Obispo. It was a long day but very manageable provided you have a reasonable level of fitness. I speak for all of us when I say that the trek far exceeded our... More

We did the El Toro circuit in bike, and it was the best experience we had in Salta. Cycling by the side of a railroad through the semi-arid landscapes was amazing, but the apex is crossing the train bridge. The circuit is mostly downhill or leveled terrain, with just a little bit of uphill. We are not athletes and it... More

We expected a Half day MTB Tour, which should take us out of the city and exhaust us anyhow. Unfortunately we didn't talk about the difficutly before, so the two of us were a little borred in the Yungas Valley Tour. It was just a nice ride through the nothern country side of Salta / San Lorenzo, along a small... More

MTB is very accommodating and professional. We had an incredible mountain bike ride around the Calchqui valley. Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. There was a small issue with the hostel for our first night and MTB had booked us in another place before we ever even got there so it was never an issue for us. They strive to... More

Brilliant way to see some lovely countryside around Salta -nacho our guide was great at giving tips for enjoying the mountain bike and also lots of insights on the local area and living in Salta. It was a highlight of our trip ( I was joining my daughter on the last part of her trip around South America and it... More

Our 4 day round the Calchqui Valley tour with MTB Salta was flawless! The mountain bikes were well maintained and fun to ride. First we rolled thru lovely Cardones National Park. When we arrived in the first small town, Payogasta, Nacho had set up a canopy and prepared our lunch, a routine repeated on successive days of the tour. The... More

We took the bus tour that included seeing the great salt flats and Purmamarca as well; a very long day but SO worth it. Our tour guide warned us it was a demanding trip even though you're riding a 20 person tour van. This is because you're going up to ~ 13000 feet in a matter of hours AND there's... More

My family and i went on a half day trip with MTB Aventura. We had a very nice bike ride and the guide, Nacho, is great. Very friendly and talkative. I fully enjoyed the trip and would recommend it any time.

We had a great ride in the rainforest near Salta. Nacho was an awesome guide - he knew a lot about the area and was very well organised. Would recommend this activity in beautiful Salta to anyone whom likes a ride!

The visit included "Jardin Botanico de Altura". A short climb to the top of the archeological site offers a 360-degree view of the valley. Throughout our trip our guide Naomi provided detail descriptions in both Spanish and English. We were given enough time at each location for sight-seeing and shopping.
