Part of the Pucara ruins site, this garden displays examples of the many types of cactus found in the area. Strolling gravel walks allows leisurely appreciation. Some but not all have identification signs.

In the Uk I am a collector of cacti, so this was special for me, but it is close to the ruins and easy to walk around. Worth a visit.

Situated at the entrance of the Pucará de Tilcara, you can find a collection of different cardones (Trichocerus sp).. The Pucará has an amazing view and fantastic wall constructions, it is a must hanging around it.
