A short trip from Mesa, AZ takes you to Saguaro Lake. You have to check in when you arrive which determines your boarding order regardless of reservations. We arrived a half hour early and boarded approximately 100. By this time all of the 'window' seats were taken. I recommend getting there a little earlier to ensure better seating. The Captain... While staying at the Saguaro Lake Ranch we did the Desert Belle lake cruise. The Captain and his info during the cruise were great. The weather and the small bottle of wine (available on board) was great. Andddd...I have never been floating in the middle of a volcano before. Much of this portion of Arizona has large amounts of ash... More

My wife and I went on the tour this afternoon and had a wonderful 1 1/2 your of the Lake. The staff was very friendly the captain should not take his jokes on the road but he at least tried 😊he was very knowledgeable about the lake 🙌 All in all I highly recommend this hour for our out of... More

We Winter and Mesa AZ and like going to the lakes to the East. The Desert Belle is a very pleasant journey around the lake and gives you a great view of rock formations. Don't miss it.

Family from around the country enjoyed this cruise. Wonderful scenery and good narration. Buy the preferred tickets so you get early boarding to choose your seat. Sit on the right side of the upper deck if you don't get a front seat on the lower deck. The preferred ticket costs $5 more than a regular ticket and includes a drink... More

My wife and I could not have been happier or more impressed with the crew, the cruise, and the dinner aboard the Belle. The crew seemed as though they could not do enough to make the cruise a memorable and special one. I was particularly impressed with the salmon and chicken served at dinner.

Narration was excellent on the cruise. The scenery was nice. I enjoyed seeing the many different birds in the water or perched on a rock or cactus. Seats up front outside on the lower deck are the best. Boarding is by numbers, like on Southwest airlines. There is little to eat on board, mostly popcorn. I would've enjoyed a sandwich... More

Thank you for your review! We would love to have more food options on board. We have tried it in the past and most of the time we were having to throw out refrigerated products from expiration because very few people would buy them. We do not like to be wasteful so we switched to snack foods that have a... More

What a beautiful way to view part of the Tonto National Forest. Captain Gino is very knowledgeable with his historical and geological narration. Staff were friendly and eager to help, the boat and restrooms were very clean.

You can purchase tickets online and then need to redeem for passes at the boat launch. The Captain Gino provided great commentary on the history and geology of the lake. We had lunch beforehand at the dock which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Make sure to bring jackets if you are going in December. I would go again.

Beautiful lake outside of Fountain Hills. We drove out on a Sunday and the cruise that day was really full and had lots of kids so we returned the next day. Best decision we made all week was going on this cruise. Weather was warm and sunny. The captain and crew were awesome. Full of knowledge about the lake and... More
