Longbow is one of the more affordable GREAT golf courses in the Phoenix basin. Ken Kavanagh and Blake Stirling designed an awesome golf course in the desert, on a flat piece of land. Worth the drive. Enjoyable and yet challenging. Affordable golf is in demand, and this place is priced well.. Great design by Kavenaugh and Stirling !

Obviously their tee times are very tight on this course. We teed off at 1200 and finished 5 1/2 hours later. Brutal. No marshals on the course moving people. It's a nice course but we will not return.

This is a nicely laid out golf course but the sand bunkers are no better than concrete. Hard compacted sand with rocks. For $140 I expect nice fluffy sand, not something you'd use to lay patio bricks on. There on course washrooms appeared to be an after thought. Men's and women's all in one washroom. Really? Their restaurant menu is... More

We played here on a beautiful sunny day and had a great outing. If you like a desert experience you will love this course. There were more desert critters on this course than on any hiking trail we have taken. The views are also beautiful. Staff was courteous and helpful. The rate of play was very quick. It is a... Great golf course; very user friendly; greens are very rolling and challenging but not lightning quick Play the green white combo for a fun round or back up to the blues Championship tees will really get your attention, but not stupid hard Long distances between greens to next tee but with top notch carts, not an issue One downer: pro... About 6 months ago I chastised the Longbow management for the lack of drinking water on the course. Yesterday we played again, and over the summer they have solved the issue with brand new fountains/bottle re-fill units on each 9. Nice improvement. Since I had complained about this, felt it only fair to acknowledge the new dispensers.

We played Longbow last weekend for the first time, and we were surprised at the high quality golf experience there. The course was in fabulous condition and the staff was pleasant and efficient. Every hole was fun and challenging -- even the short holes. (Maybe they wouldn't have been so challenging if I had managed to stay out of the... More

Rushed start, the pro-shop put groups out every 4 mins. Terrible bunkers, no sand...GRAVEL! Don't wreck your clubs. The course is right next to an airport, constant airplane traffic overhead. For the $$ there are some other options.
