We started travelling in South America a month ago and realised that buying a ticket or finding directions was impossible without any Spanish.
We took a weeks beginner course at 'Spanish in Rosario'.
In just 5 days we now have enough to navigate a menu, travel and accommodation and so much more that I didn't expect! 'Spanish in Rosario' is a small and friendly establishment with a sociable side too, we met some lovely people and will treasure this experience.
Steph and Claudio are talented, welcoming and generous people, our teachers Luicana, Cintia and Claudio were patient, fun and very knowledgable.
I would highly recommend this experience and particularly Rosario, a quaint but bustling town where you can put your Spanish into real practice by eating out, drinking out and watching some football! :-)
Muchas Gracias! to all at the school xx

We were only in Rosario for a few days but decided to take a few days lessons to help us enhance our spanish. With only a short space of time Claudio and Cintia did such a great job in teaching us new concepts and other ways of using the language! It has given us a base to use and improve our conversational skills while in South America! Their attention to detail was great and patience when it took me a while to concepts! A great and welcoming place to learn spanish and I would recommend it to anyone who has any amount of time in Rosario!

Voy a escribir mi opinion en ingles porque se que la mayoria de los alumnos que estan buscando classes en Argentina pueden hablar en ingles y por lo tanto, para asegurarme que todos pueden leer lo que quiero decir...
Being an Arab national and living abroad most of my life, I speak fluent English and Arabic, and I also had a base in Spanish as I have loved the language ever since I was a little girl. Later on, being with my Argentinian boyfriend, I had the chance to visit Argentina several times, and on one occasion, we had to stay in Rosario one entire month for work, and that was my perfect chance to be in an environment where I was forced to speak Spanish all the time, yet that made me realize how weak my command was and how much more I still needed to learn.
I researched online every single option you can imagine, and so I came to find "Spanish in Rosario"... and while I'm on that note, I also want to mention that Rosario is a great city, just more tranquil than Buenos Aires, so if you are looking for a place to study in Argentina without getting lost in the huge space of a very busy and loud city, then Rosario is the right place for you. Let's say Rosario is the Chicago of the USA while Buenos Aires is like New York. If that makes sense...
Coming across "Spanish in Rosario" school, the scenario of learning in an environment that was like a home away from home, caters to your specific language needs, offers VERY FLEXIBLE timings, fair prices, and great central location that is easy to reach by personal or public transportation was incredibly ideal, and moreover, they even serve fresh brew coffee and you are welcome to use their facility as a little personal space during the day while you study. It was a dream come true!
I met Stephanie on the first day and we all clicked instantly. The fact that she is originally from the USA and has been living in Argentina for the last 10 years, makes her the best person to better understand how we all perceive languages and what our challenges will be, and how we all do translations in our mind... That is what allowed her to put together the perfect program for students visiting in the city. She introduced me to the school, the team, some other students, and so I started taking private lessons at first, which was spot on for my requirements. I had my own timings, my own instructor, my own classroom, the focus was very effective for my progress. They design lesson-flow according to each student level, without consuming time inefficiently, they really focus on the language-command weak points of each student individually and they make it stronger.
Later on I merged into a small group class, I was with Hannah, an awesome American young lady from Arkansas who had just arrived and was on a similar language-level as mine, and we continued classes till the end of my stay together.
Claudio, our instructor was wonderful, he taught us a lot and always made sure to explain many examples both in the "Argentinian" way of Spanish, as well as the rest of the South American Spanish variations, and of course, "Spain" Spanish. That was so helpful as most people don't even realize how different Argentinian Spanish can be, however, let me tell you before you feel confused, in Argentina, they use the original form of old Castellano, but most people don't even realize that. So have no fear, it will be the best Spanish you have ever learned!
Later on we started mixing classes with other instructors at the school, which exposed us to different ways and methods, more examples, more experiences, more techniques for learning, and more tricks for memorizing what to say in certain situations and so on... Marcela, our other instructor, she's awesome, very vibrant, speaks many languages and lived in several countries, her way of teaching gave us an extra boost of confidence over the remaining days of the program.
I was with the school for almost one month, and on multiple occasions I also took my laptop and did some work after class, drank Mate, ordered lunch with Hannah, it was like being in a very chilled out school office for a few hours every day of the week, 3 weeks in a row.
What I loved most about the school was the family feel... We all met the children of Stephanie and Claudio, we all had interesting conversations on life and much more, they also invited us over to their place for a great Asado, something they do for most students maybe once a month, which is super cool, and Stephanie is hilarious. (By the way if anybody wants to take English classes, they offer that too). Si queres mejorar tu Ingles, en esta escuela podes tambien!
To sum up my wonderful experience, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you check them out, go meet them and have a chat and see how you feel... p.s: They can also organize a host-home for you to stay in during your visit to Argentina.
Thank you "SPANISH IN ROSARIO" for this wonderful experience, and I can't wait for the next chance to be in Argentina for a long while again so I can take more advanced classes with them.

...actually it is even more than that. stephanie and claudio are so helpful with everything and have open arms for everyone. you feel like being part of their wonderful family. i really had great time in rosario and got to learn also about the culture!
the spanish class itself is well structured, the teachers are competent and well versed (in the language itself and the way to teach it), the materials are individually prepared and the maximum of three students in one class makes it really intense and individual. four hours a day to me was the perfect amount of hours during one day for a beginners class.
i would highly recommend spanish in rosario. you won't regret it!

I met the owner Stephanie on a guided walk of Rosario and was instantly intrigued by her school as she was such a vibrant engaging person. As a complete beginner to learning Spanish I was pretty apprehensive about taking classes but Fede and Marcella were really fantastic teachers and I got over this very quickly. They were both very patient with me, answered all of my questions and explained everything perfectly. I had lots of fun learning and talking with them. The classes were also arranged around my schedule which was a complete bonus! I had the opportunity to go to their monthly 'bilingual' event al well and meet some other students. It was a great night and everyone really enjoyed themselves. I got the sense the school is like a fabulous little community in Rosario. I would recommend Spanish in Rosario very very highly and hope to go back again when one day!

Whether you're there for the numerous events( tango lessons, wine or beer tasting, etc) or taking a language course. This place takes cultural immersion, education and community to a new level. Stephanie and Claudio are uber cool and their staff continue to be friendly and versatile. Regardless of your competency in spanish or english you will be challenged (but enjoy the hell out of it). Rosario provides a great setting. It's a huge city but maintains the feel of smaller cities that are a fraction of the size. Stoked I found this place.

Quite possibly the best place to learn Spanish. The atmosphere, the teachers, the people running the place (especially Stephanie) are phenomenal. Go to Rosario, stay for 3 months, and learn at Spanish in Rosario!

My experience was absolutely easy and perfect. The owner, Stephanie, set up my housing, introduced me to Spanish locals in my age and interest group, as well as hosted parties and events throughout my stay. The teachers were very friendly and thorough. Having traveled to Argentina alone with poor Spanish skills, I could not of had a better experience without this school!

I can't speak highly enough of this school founded and run by Stephanie and Claudio in Rosario. From the moment I arrived it was clear to see this place was built with love and passion. As a complete beginner, my teachers Fede, Marcella and Lorena, made me feel completely at ease. Each of their teaching styles were unique but each as effective (as an English Language Teacher I have stolen some of their techniques!) Being completely immersed in the language was perfect and exactly what I needed! During my time studying at Spanish in Rosario, I found friends for life and a place that really cares about their students. As a newbie to Rosario, the social events organised by Steph were awesome! I really got to know and fall in love with Rosario, mostly thanks to the school. I really hope to return one day! Folks, Spanish in Rosario is not just a school - its a way of life!!

Taking classes with Spanish in Rosario offers you more than just language instruction. The teachers are excellent, the class sizes are small, but for me what really sets this place apart is the way they help connect you with locals and the local culture.
Myself and other students were invited to share meals at the home of the director of the school with her family. There really is no substitute for that kind of warmth when you are traveling far from home, and there is no better way to learn a language than by being immersed in it in social and familial settings.
It's a unique language institute with unique instructors and based around a unique family that really go out of their way to open up the doors of the city and its culture for you.
Highly recommended!
