The kid rides are old and rusty.. Its a nice place to take pictures but not worth a vacationers time.

If you like trees, pines, water and green over all is just a beautiful place to walk around, have a picnic or just sit in a bench to breathe lovely fresh air in the city.

I've been there very quickly but what I see was a very well preserved and clean park. A central area to relax.

A beautiful park to go for some quiet time! The gardens are exquisitely maintained, and a must do is the calendar that is changed every day. I really enjoyed taking in the various gardens from differing nations, featuring vegetation from those regions.

Great fun to hire pedal boats and paddle round the lake in the sunshine. Also inspiring to see at night when the lights play on the fountain and soft music is playing. Very beautiful place.

There is a boating pond and the jardin de ninos is a great day out for children to visit and learn and explore

The park was ok but not many things to do. It was hard to navigate and also cars drive straight through it so the loud traffic noises don't make it that relaxing

Nice Hotel, Good Wine Tour, Puyehue considered (2 Replies)
Folks, Thinking of going with three folk (two hotel rooms, or two B&B rooms) to Mendoza arriving June 29, 2011 - July 2, 2011. Specific vineyards in mind. Previously stayed (2006) in a modest hotel on Parque Independencia, and liked the location but not the room. My questions: a. Suggested hotels and/or B&B's (lean toward hotels). b) Suggested tour groups or superior drivers. c) Great in-town restaurants for the evenings, as I seem to recall Mendoza rolling up the...More
