A nice place in Puerto Iguazu to see where the locals hangout in the evening and have their dinner. And also if you don't particular fancy a pricy restaurant. We ordered some beef steak with chips, salad, bread and rice for 2 people, as well as 1 litre of beer for a total of 900 pesos.
There are several options and restaurants to choose from along the street.
Just don't mind the stray dogs or the kids trying to sell you stuff.

1. we wait 3 hours to pass through the Argentinean Customs, kilometers of cars and buses need to be registered to enter the country, but there are few unmotivated employees working.
2. Very dirty place, we found a giant rat inside one of the best restaurants, near the fair.
3. Fair with rude attendants.
Now the most important thing is in case you still decide to go.
4. Argentina is facing a crisis and for this reason, there are two exchange rates, the famous blue dollar. When paying in cash there is no problem, but if you use a credit or debit card, the amount will be almost double.
When we realized this we went back to the merchant who, even knowing the situation, did not want to reverse the purchase and mistreated me.
I will never set foot in that place again.

Wouldn't go back. At the fair the stalls are basically alfajor, dulce de leche and olives. Dulce de leche can be found much cheaper in the city's markets, close to the fair there is Dagu, which you can walk to, and further away there is the EOS market, both of which accept reais. You can also find Alfajor in the markets, at the fair there is even more variety, but you have to pay attention to the expiration date, the closed box I checked the date, but I took a few pieces without checking the expiration date and when I opened them the next day they were moldy and had been expired for a while. month. For dinner, it's better to go to nearby restaurants rather than to the stalls.

I have been there several times at night and I find it cool to buy some Argentine products and dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. Today, however, I decided to go by day, even knowing that some shops could be closed. I faced a giant queue to go and return. A bad service at the customs, no signage, the queues are disorganized, motorcycles are running in line all the time and a huge badwill to speed up the service. I am a polite person and "for free" I took a fist from the attendant, who treated me extremely badly. I should have returned at this time, because I am sure that in Brazil foreigners are not received this way. But I kept going. Arriving at the fair I understood that the night everything seems more beautiful, with lights and music. By day the fair is ugly, wiped out and the sellers seem to be all unwilling. I was not well served by anyone, a bad energy. I decided to buy some things just not to miss the trip and left soon, until pq was all to the flies and I was scared. Very begging, lots of people asking for alms on the street, little children walking around the street begging. A tragedy. It looks like all the charms of day. I do not recommend to anyone. Puerto Iguassu is not about tourists.

We ate at a restaurant, everything was ok, called Yacare, as they make the meat grilled.
Well, before that we went into another restaurant that smelled like a bathroom and ran away…so this Yacare didn't surprise me…but it was ok.
The Patagonia chop at the kiosk is top notch.
We bought alfajores at the market, about the olive oil an Argentine said that anything that is plastic is not pure olive oil but a mixture of oil…so we aborted…
We bought a DV Catena wine at a very good price.
If we lived nearby I think I would have tried the cheeses and olives 😀…

I completed a city tour of Argentina and the stop at the night market was included. I really liked the place, as there are several options of local products at very affordable prices.
Right at the beginning of the street, there are several very chic restaurants. After that, the market begins with several small shops, mostly selling food and drinks. It has a little bit of everything and it's worth researching beforehand, as prices vary between stores.
It's worth bringing wine, alfajor and dulce de leche.

Very dirty place.
Before having a meal at Bar do Gaúcho, stop by the kitchen.
Dirt everywhere, lack of hygiene and dead cockroaches are left on the floor.
I don't recommend it due to the dirt and high price.

Ugly, dirty and disorganized place. When the guide said "fair", I imagined a place with stalls, crafts and well-made local food. Fair like the kind we have in Brazil. The moment I saw the so-called "fair" I wanted to run away. It's a cramped corridor, with dirt floor "stores", lots of dirt and mess. Avoid this place and the food they serve there. The rest of the street, also called a street market, has good restaurants, including the Patagonia beer bar. Puerto Guazu is not worth the trip.

It is well worth visiting to buy wine, alfajor, sweet milk and olives. At the very end, next to the bar, I found a stall selling 24 alfajores for 28 reais!!!!! It's also worth going to Mirian's stall to eat cold snacks and the famous Argentine empanadas.

Various banquets/galeries selling wines, olives, cheeses, alfajores, milk sweets, salads, olives, dried spices. Good prices. Check all stores to find the best price. Sale in real/pix. There was paid parking next door, 30 reais. We don't stay to eat, but by late evening the lights are already lit, which leaves a charm, and there are several places to eat grilla, beer, etc. We left happy with the Shopping done.

Sobre a Feirinha,
Saberiam me dizer se é permitido trazer azeitona (no avião) e azeite e qual seria a quantidade?

Olá! Alguém sabe informar o endereço desta feirinha? Estarei em Foz e vou de carro. Obrigada!
Written July 5, 2022
