Serious photographers with arms length camera lenses were focused on the fluttering and flying of beautiful hummingbirds in the backyard of the small house. For other bird lovers, this is a peaceful area to sit and enjoy nature. Worth an hour or so of calm.

Arrived here around 1630. Owner helped us identify the birds present. We saw 5-10 types of hummingbirds (picaflores) and a beautiful blue tanager that loved to eat the fruits. My favorite bird was the giant swallow-tailed hummingbird that was over 6 inches long with the...More

The Violet-capped Woodnymph was my favorite. Try to take your eyes off hummers, for you...More

Beautiful little garden, full of hummingbirds of course, and some other birds and butterflies. Friendly lady that can tell you about the species. Only 100 pesos per person. Worthwhile a visit and have a quiet half hour or hour.
