Amazing place to spend a couple of hours in Iguazu, relaxing in the garden while hummingbirds of several species (and also other birds) fly around.
The managers ensure that the bird feeders have the right solution of water and sugar, and that they are cleaned properly to avoid any harm to the birds.
If you want the chance to take some amazing hummingbird pictures, this is the right place.

Just a small private backyard but full of different sized and colored humming birds. You can sit and watch their movement as they feed continuously. I could dit there for hours.

Definitely worth your while to visit this place if you love birds, especially hummingbirds. The place was buzzing with over 60 hummingbirds. I counted at least 6 species. You could spend as little as 15 minutes here or as much as 90 minutes as we did. Beautiful oasis in a family's backyard filled with flowers, trees and lots of bird feeders. About a 20 minute walk from the hotels in Puerto Iguazu. Have them give you a map of the town. It's in the residential area, so it's a bit tricky to find. The taxi drivers all know where it is. It is definitely worth the trip.

Lovely small garden and humming birds. A special place to visit! A small family garden that has been adapted to provide a paradise for the local humming birds. There are several feeders and you can easily while an hour watching these tiny birds feed. The garden is run by a family who are welcoming. If the gate is locked clap your hands and the owners will open the gate. A must for anyone interested in wildlife.

It was closed New Year's day when we arrived, but we were able to go twice after that. It opens at 4 and closes at 7( at least while we were there( It cost $5 for two. We were there when it opened until it closed both days.
It is a tiny spot with lots of feeders and fruit all over the place. There are also seats and benches spread around as well. You have to give the birds time, but if someone sits closer than they like they will not go to the feeder.

There are lots of people coming and going, but you really need to sit and just watch for a while. She has bird identification keys to the ones often found in her garden. She also knows them ( as does her son), who points them out as they come.

It is kind of dark in there so taking photos can be a challenge - not to mention they are mostly hummingbirds! There some tanagers and banana quits too.

Take water with you and use the bathroom before you go - none there.

It is definitely worth going to see if you like birds at all. We enjoyed it lots!!

I wouldn’t say that this is a must see destination, but it is interesting. The space is small, but packed with a wide variety of tropical plants, bushes and trees. There are many hummingbirds, which to our uneducated eyes looked similar. The location is in the center of town in a residential area. The current price is 150 pesos per person.

Private backyard/jungle garden for many hummingbird species and other beautiful jungle birds. For 150 pesos (now $2.50 US) see lots of beautiful birds. Take a taxi to Jardin Picaflores....they all know where it is because many travelers come there. A few blocks off the main street in the town. Open 4-7 in the afternoon only (at least when we were there). I was told by a caretaker that the birds feed at the feeders primarily late in the afternoon. Knock at the gate and someone will come to let you in. If you're lucky like I was, you will be there when some expert birders are there. I was lucky to share the upper viewing platform with 2 avid world birders from Ireland and England. They pointed out a few things right away that I might have missed like how the bananaquits were chasing some hummingbirds/picaflores away. The most beautiful big hummingbird here is the blue and green Swallow-tailed Hummingbird. Also Gilded Hummingbird, White-throated Hummingbird, Versicolored Emeralds, Planalto Emerald. And don't miss the black and white hummingbird, the Black Jacobin. As well the dark blue and yellow Violaceous Euphonia. There are large plastic cards with good drawings to help you identify the different birds. The woman owner knows the birds well and will help you identify them. Don't miss these beauties! Enjoy!

We loved our visit to this small family garden full of different hummingbirds. A quiet and contemplative moment after a busy visit to the falls.

We checked into our hotel but didn't even go to the room so we would be able to visit this delightful place before the sun went down. I went back before my flight left three days later. I would have stayed all day, watching the antics of all the lovely hummingbirds. It was a hjighlight of my trip!
