I'm normally wary of animal-focused outings because of "sad zoo" element that it too often present. Guiraoga was lovely. Granted, there were only Spanish-speaking tours when I visited and my Spanish is very limited, but the animals all had safe enclosures and were well-taken care of. I loved how close we were able to get to different animals and birds.... More

Half way through we were rained out - not Guiraoga's fault but I've tried to imagine what it would have been like in nice weather! They do excellent work rehabilitating wild animals, just bear in mind that this is NOT a zoo. Saw my first ever armadillo! The tour was in Spanish, but the tour guide gave us a separate... More

Not great but friendly staff, nice walk through the jungle. The bird cages are not the biggest I have seen in bird parks. Some of the animals seem a little cage crazy, pacing up and down. But the staff know their stuff, it's not overly priced and passes a few hours.

Saw a number of the local animals, only tour available was in Spanish (which ours is very limited) so couldn't get the full amount of information about each of the animals. Great to see the work being done to help injured animals.

Ok what do you do when you are falled out and want something different to spend a few hours. This is an animal rescue focused on returning animals to the wild. We took the 5km local bus from downtown, very cheap, entrance 150 ars per person and 1.5 hours guided walk through animals and birds. Armadillos, parrots, toucans, Eagles, monkeys... More

Nice little animal and bird park, doing good animal rescue work. Unfortunately when we visited today only Spanish speaking staff were on hand, and little of the signage is multilingual. The Portugese and English speaking visitors (like us) missed out on a lot of the experience. Worth a visit but would pay to check if any multilingual staff are around.

Good place to see many of the local animals. They are animals that have been rescued from road maim, hunters, or other misfortunes. Climb aboard a big truck with seats to enter into the reserve. Animals kept within enclosed areas. Monkeys & birds are in large caged areas They are well kept, the folks that care for them really do... More

I normally don't like visiting zoos because of the animals living conditions. But here the animals are rescued from trade or wounds and are reinsert when possible. Nothing exceptionnel about the animals to see except maybe the wild cats and some birds but it's a nice project worth to see if u still have one day spent there and don't... More

Great activity for a few hours in Iguazu not spent at the falls. The reservation is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rerelease of all different kinds of animals and so we got to see a wide range of wildlife. Carmen, our guide, spoke English and Spanish and (as non-Spanish speakers) made sure that we got all of the information... More

A wildlife refuge staffed by caring and knowledgeable staff. Not a zoo but you can see local wildlife up close.
