We visited the Iguazu Falls on the Argentina side, and it was simply amazing to see the Falls from the Devils' Throat. Head out early i the morning at 8.40 am by taking the train at Cataratas station inside the park, and there were already so many people. I would recommend going to the Devil's Throat first thing in the morning, and then return to the Cataratas station to walk the Upper and Lower Trails. The Upper trail has better views of the falls. It was the visit of a life time.

Fuimos con mi pareja y mis dos hijos (5 y 7), recomiendo hacer los recorridos en dos días, sobre todo si van a hacer el sendero Macuco (muy largo).
El clima es importante si van un día de mucho calor, no la van a pasar bien y los van a picar los jejenes (llevar repelente)
Las comidas dentro del parque no me resultaron caras ( empandas 2 U$S, ensaladas 7 U$S, gaseosas 2 U$S)
Podes también llevarte tu propia comida y comer en lo lugares habilitados.
We went with my partner and my two children (5 and 7), I recommend doing the tours in two days, especially if you are going to do the Macuco trail (very long).
The weather is important if you go on a very hot day, you will not have a good time and the gnats will bite you (bring repellent)
The meals inside the park were not expensive for me (empandas 2 U$S, salads 7 U$S, soft drinks 2 U$S)
You can also take your own food and eat in the authorized places.

The park is very large and has a train which goes straight to Devil's throat. We got there early before the huge crowds, but it was difficult to get photos because of the spray and people. A photographer had a small spot reserved so we bought a photo which was a good idea because our own photos were ruined by spray.
We also did the top trail which was mostly flat boardwalk, as was the trail to devil's throat.
The park was well organised and accessible for the disabled.
Eating areas were OK, with a caged section to avoid coatis.
The other waterfalls were also amazing and easy to photograph without the spray.
For a full experience, go to the Brazilian side as well.

Park is well organized. Note -lines for tickets are much shorter using CC. Plan at least a two day stay, as rainy/cloudy weather really bumbs out your views. Be sure to add the $50 river-falls Boat Adventure... great fun, and very different impact of Falls from the bottom.

Amazing - You must go to the Argentinian side and do the gran aventura boat ride. Let yourself get wet - don’t buy a poncho! They give you a very heft waterproof bag that can fit a daypack inside so your belongings stay dry. I brought a new pair of clothes to change into.
If I could do Iguazu over again, I might do the tour on the Argentinian side but stay at the park longer to complete more circuits and catch a cab back. And I would then skip the Brazilian side unless doing the helicopter ride. The helicopter ride made it worth the time. But rather than spend two full days in Iguazu I would have preferred a 4th day in El Calafate. Instead I went
back the the Argentinian side on my own after the Brazilian side (this actually lasts 2 hours less than the Argentinian side) and paid 50% of the entrance fee for the second day. Don’t miss the lower circuit if you don’t go to the Brazilian side. I’m glad I went back to do the lower circuit since my tour did not have them the first day.
The Brazilian side was great, and I would recommend it if you have plenty of time. But I would not waste that day if you feel short of time at El Calafate like we did. El Calafate is more unique and has loads of day hiking trips.

Lots to see in addition on both the Argentinian and Brazilian sides. You must see this beautiful beautiful water fall once your life.
But ... a train very old ... the price does not make up for the trip. The park staff do not bother to communicate with foreign tourists, speaking Spanish fast and with a heavy accent.
Despite the wonderful nature and beautiful view of the falls, I can not recommend the tour, definitely not worth it.

They have the possibility to generate a phenomenal experience and they do everything backwards. It was really a shame to be in front of such a place, with so much nature but so disorganized that we wanted to leave.
To begin with, the train broke down at 200 meters and we were stuck for 15 minutes, until a mechanic came to change a hose.
When we got to the second train station, to go up to the Devil's Throat, we found ourselves with more than 45 minutes of waiting, under the sun and with an infernal crowd of people. We went with baby strollers and there was no place to sit or priority on the trains. The trains had to be for 4 people per seat but the employees forced to get on 6 or 7, crazy. We had to give up going to the Devil's Throat.
We did the upper circuit, very well put together, very good structures, secure and views. The only thing that wasn't charming is the constant noise of helicopters flying over the area. This circuit is very beautiful and recommended. Be careful with the food and the animals, it can generate an unfunny situation.

We had two days in Iguazu and that was the perfect amount of time. We spent the majority of one day seeing the Argentinian side and less than 1/2 day seeing the Brazilian side.
The Argentinian side has a network of bridges and boardwalks that wind through the falls from an upper and lower vantage point enabling you to see the most amazing set of falls up close and personal. In some spots you are actually walking over the falls or in others you can stand right beside the streams of water. It is magnificent.
The entire falls are 3kms wide and both sides have National Park commissions that keep the viewing areas and trails in excellent shape. The Argentinian side has many more steps where the Brazilian side is mostly on level ground. However you really ned to see them from both sides to appreciate the full magnitude of these natural falls.
We toured each day with a guide who gave us tons of information and guided us through each area with ease. He also took care of purchasing tickets, getting us on the train and to truck for the ride to the jet boat. We had no worries all day. It was lovely to have an expert from the area to give us all the interesting facts about what we were seeing. The guides there are trained in the vegetation, the animals and essentially everything located within the parks. They are a wealth of knowledge and highly recommended to enhance your visit.
We also thoroughly enjoyed the jet boat ride down through the Falls. This was definitely a highlight of our trip. Riding around in the rapids and then going right close to the falls so you become drenched was exhilarating and a not to be missed excursion. Something very special that you can experience in that area from either side.
If you are in the area be sure to plan a couple of days to see these beautiful parks.

Day one was spent on the Argentinian side of the falls and luckily it was slightly overcast, so it didn't get oppressive! The falls are amazing, and your first sighting is thrilling plus you wonder at the power of the river serving the falls. There are two tracks to follow, the higher & lower trails (or superior/inferior) and personally I found the lower to give a better overall picture of the various falls. The major fall is St. Martin's where the awesome power of the falls is most evident, but all the falls attract your eye. The braver souls went in the power boats and got soaked for their efforts. Sadly, the Devils Throat section was closed due to storms last year that destroyed the walkways and repairs will cost a motza! There is a cafe & restaurant, with the cafe being pretty reasonable in pricing plus the beers were cold! My photos tell it better than I can say!

I loved my time in the Parque and the waterfalls are truly amazing.
I had been warned I should pre-book a ticket/ get there early/get a guide etc etc
I did none of the above and had no trouble getting my ticket at the entrance; sure there were lots of people around but being with a guide means you are constantly moving in a big herd. I was able to manage my own time and in 5 hours did the Devils Throat and Upper and Lower Circuits .
Note: I had to cross the previous day from Foz to Puerto Iguazú..... the 2 border crossings took an hour and a half in total .... maybe it was a bad day but factor this in if you don’t have much time!!

I gather from some reviews that you can do the walks by yourself, no problems. There is a train up to the Devil's Throat, correct? Can you just book the boat under/near the falls once you get there (the day before) or is it best to do this before you go to ensure you get a seat? Any other hints? We are there for four nights and plan to do Arg side one day, Braz side on the second and perhaps the mine tour on day three? Comments please. Any helpful hints would be most appreciated. Regards Jo

Hola! Quería saber si el Parque Nacional Iguazu cuenta con espacio de guardado de Valijas, ya que desde el Aeropuerto iría directamente al Parque (no me conviene por costos ir a la ciudad y tener que volver). Quise contactarme vía telefónica con el Parque pero no cuentan con ese medio, solo vía mail pero no obtuve respuesta. Si alguien puede ayudarme se lo agradecería! Saludos!

Yo fui en Febrero y no estaba habilitado.
Cuando se endureció todo cerraron el Parque los fines de semana.
Hoy no sé en qué estado se encuentra. Deberías averiguar con algún operador de allá.
