Era domingo e assim que chegamos na cidade de Uspallata e descarregamos as malas fomos assistir a santa Missa na igreja de Nossa Senhora, gente muito simples nos acolheram com muito carinho.

En la Villa de Uspallata, que fuera Ruta Sanmartiniana, esta la pequeña Parroquia, Luminosa, Sencilla y Atractiva.
La Parroquia esta puesta bajo la advocación de *Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Cuyo* Patrona y Generala del Ejercito de Los Andes.
A su ves es Patrona de Cuyo (Mendoza, San Luis, San Juan) y de la Educación Mendocina en todos sus niveles.
El 8 de Septiembre de 1911 en memorable ceremonia se le coloco a la Virgen la Corona de Oro, Platino y Piedras Preciosas, ofrenda de los devotos.
El 5 de Enero de 1817 el Gral San Martin, de profunda veneración, le entrega su Bastón de Mando, sostenido por el brazo derecho de Ntra Sra del Carmen de Cuyo.
La Banda que cruza el pecho y cintura en la Virgen, la reconoce como Generala del Ejercito Argentino.
En el manto que la cubre están los Escudos de las Provincias Argentinas y las tres Naciones Liberadas, Argentina, Chile y Perú.
A los pies hay una 1/2 Luna de Plata con los escudos de las Tres Provincias Cuyanas.
Se destacan a ambos lados las Banderas de los tres países que obtuvieron su Independencia.
La Fiesta Patronal de la Virgen del Carmen de Cuyo es el 8 de Septiembre.
Desde la entrada hasta la Parroquia hay un amplio Parque, donde nos encontramos con Ntra Sra de Lourdes, Patrona de los Enfermos.
Esta ubicada en la Av Las Heras a 120m de la Ruta 7, Casino, Secretaria de Turismo y del ACA de Uspallata.
Magnifico entorno natural y la Precordillera, forman parte de la Villa de Uspallata.

En la Villa de Uspallata nos encontramos con esta sencilla y humilde capilla dentro de un entorno pintoresco. Interesante por su historia y transmite mucha paz.

Soy del pueblo de Uspallata agradesco lo bueno y tambien lo malo. Pero ojala que Dios los bendiga pero si ven que no son aceptados vayanse. Prometo no voler nunca mas a este lugar.

Es pequeña y sencilla. Pudimos visitarla durante nuestra estadía en Uspallata. Fuimos en horas de la tarde y estuvimos solos, disfrutando de un momento de paz total. Es muy linda, no dejen de conocerla.
