Drive slowly and carefully, very easy to miss exit when driving west. road to it is pavement with nice potholes. A nice small bridge, that gives a sense of how hard was to cross the Andes in the 1800s.

We travelled through Uspallata on our trip on route 7 into the Andes and although we were a bit put off to start with from what we saw, once we stopped and had a look around we soon changed our minds. Great little town with so many things to do and see within a few miles travelling out. If we were exploring more we would use the town as the base, as there were some great hotels and restaurants available to make your evenings more pleasurable.
