See the staple of Italian cooking, Olive Oil, from harvest (May & June) through processing. The machinery and tools used have changed dramatically through the years, and the Yancanelo Factory, established in 1942, will show you both, with an extensive museum and a tour of the interesting process today.

It was a simple tour where you learn the antique process of the production of olive oil. If you have time you should visit this place because is the better one in Mendoza.

The place has a variety of olives, preserves, olive oils of different quality and packaging, and wines. It is a warehouse next to the processing plant, and a recognized San Rafael brand.

The visit was very interesting, they explained the oil production process very well and we tasted some delicious olives in the sales room. The guided tour is free (prior reservation), and can be easily reached by public transport or by bike.
