Our experience with Ampora - from the booking until the end of the wine tours - was absolutely amazing! They are very easy to work with, the tour guide was beyond sweet and extremely knowledgeable, and each of the vineyards was very unique! The vineyards also had a strong relationship with Ampora and always gave us the "special" treatment (i.e.... More

Ampora worked with us to develop an excellent custom tour that visited some top-notch wineries we hadn't visited by ourselves. The driver drove sensibly, the guide was friendly, helpful and added a lot to the experience, and obviously was liked and respected by the staff at the wineries. The wineries we visited were carefully selected to not overlap our prior... More

Ampora provides thoughtful, well-planned winery tours with excellent guides. We have gone with them in 2009, 2010, and 2016 to both the Uco Valley and Lujan de Cuyo areas. The Andes are a beautiful backdrop for vineyards. And each day's visits include a gourmet lunch at one of the wineries. Wineries in Mendoza, for the most part, require reservations for... More

We were picked up at our hotel and spent the next few hours chatting with Cati, whose English was perfect. The driver heard that one of us hadn't had breakfast and he pulled over at a place for her to get something light to eat. We went to three Uco Valley vineyards, each somewhat different and the tastings were interesting.... More

We had a great day in the Uco Valley. Ampora did a fantastic job of planning the trip and setting up some really terrific visits. We did tours and tastings at the first two wineries and had an amazing lunch at the next. All in it was fairly inexpensive for all we had too. The host was great - very... More

We did full day Icon Wine tasting with Ampora. Was three of us - my husband and my mother. All four wineries were excellent. Don't miss the wine/olive oil at De Angeles. Also visited Pulenta. Casarena, and Altocedro. The lunch at Casarena was great as well. The staff - drivers, guides and office staff were responsive and helpful. When one... More

We had an amazing time on the lujan de cuyo tour! Came on our honeymoon during slow season (beginning of May) and we're taken to a few wineries with another couple. It was so pretty everywhere and they give you TONS of wine! Pulenta was my favorite :)

In March I had a world class experience thanks to Ampora Wine Tours. The tour had perfect sequencing and flow, from Mendoza's macro viniculture overview to savoring the ambrosial wine and food pairings with the sun shimmering over the Andes. Truly an amazing setting and Ampora really captured the essence of Mendoza wine culture. Kudos to our guide Coty and... More

We did two wine tours and a wine tasting with Ampora. We did the Uco Valley tour and the Lujan de Cuyo tour. Uco was 3 wineries with a great lunch at the last winery. Lujan de Cuyo was 4 wineries with another great lunch at the last winery. The lunches are gourmet lunches with multiple courses paired perfectly with... More
