We may not be the most knowledgeable wine drinkers around, but we know a good time! And this was so much fun!! They actually do a really good job telling you about the area, the vineyards you visit, the history of the region. Learn what you can on the way out, because unless you're spitting out all the wine tasting, you'll just be enjoying the fun atmosphere they help cultivate in their transport and this WILL be the highlight of your visit to the Medoza region!

Cannot say enough positive things about our experience with Ampora!! Myself and two friends did 2 experiences - to Uco Valley and then two days later to the Lujan region. Both were so much fun with GREAT wines. Our guides, Coti and Mica, were caring, informative, and FUN! We felt very special with personal service, visiting smaller wineries, and could feel how much our hosts loved sharing their stories with us. Lunch at DiamAndes on our first day was exquisite. Can only highly recommend Ampora for anyone visiting the region. Thanks to all from the office staff as I made arrangements, our guides, and our drivers!

We had such a good experience with Ampora Wine Tours, Our guide, Sabrina, was very nice and knowledgeable. The tour company chose four wineries for us to visit, with a wonderful lunch at the last one. Each winery was superb and gave us private tours and tastings. We also had a very courteous, alert driver to take us around.

We have done Ampora’s Lujan de Cuyo twice two years apart. We enjoyed the first trip enough to set up a second this year. Everything is first rate from vehicle/driver, guide and the reception we received at what is now 8 wineries visited. These are small group tours and the hosts/hostesses have been knowledgeable and welcoming. The lunch stops were true highlights.

From start to finish, my experience with Ampora has been fantastic. I was lucky to do both the Luján de Cuyo and Uco Valley tours and they were both amazing experiences. Ampora tailor the trips to visit wineries of different sizes and scales so you get a more complete picture of the wine industry in and around Mendoza. The one thing that all these wineries had in common though was the wonderful welcome you were given and the high quality of the wines during the tastings. The tours then culminated in beautiful lunches at Bodegas Lagarde, with it's gorgeous garden setting and Bodegas DiamAndes with the most breathtaking view of the Andes. I had Sabrina as the guide for both of my tours and she was absolutely wonderful. Incredibly knowledgeable about the vineyards and wines whilst also being funny, charming and just lovely to talk to. She definitely made the experience all the more special. I also have to give a special mention to the staff in the office and the drivers who were incredibly professional whilst also being very personable. All in all a perfect experience!
