Great staff, gorgeous views, relaxing stay
Mar 2021
Michael Evans and the team at The Vines are excellent hosts and highly professional. I stayed here for a few days with my father, where every meal from Francis Mallmann's Siete Fuegos, combined with a vast wine list from the surrounding vineyards, made for a unique experience. Whether solo, as a couple or with family, everyone should stay here at least once in their lifetime!

Good visit - Expensive - Great bar

We didn't stay here but went for a great visit. Absolutely beautiful property. The rooms book up very quickly and are expensive. The bar and bartender was great.

Peace and Relaxation in the middle of Vineyards
Jan 2020
However, they never finished the spa. So the spa is a villa they retrofitted to act as the spa. A bit disappointing for a place with "Resort & Spa" in the name. However, the gym has the most beautiful view I've ever seen. Our villa was well decorated, clean, well air-conditioned, large, and luxurious. We enjoyed riding bikes to and from and even came across friendly foxes, frogs, and guinea pigs. The pool area/restaurant has a fantastic veiw of the mountains. The siete fuegos experience was great for a one time experience and A LOT of food. NYE experience was small and family-oriented but exactly what was needed. Breakfast is a buffet with a menu to order. There are wineries on property to go to tastings. Concierge was extremely helpful. Wish there was a more basic menu. Got a bit tired of all the meat by the end of our week long stay.

This is a special place with an unbelievable view of the Andes in the middle of a vineyard. Great service, fabulous villas and good food. Arranged a sunset ride into the Andes that was spectacular. Strongly recommend.

Best Resort We've Ever Visited
Oct 2019 • Business
The Vines is an amazing resort. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The villas are perfect and offer amazing views. They are alo cleaned twice per day. Any activity you can think of trying, the Vines staff will put together for you. I am very grateful for everything the resort staff did to make our visit unforgettable. I highly recommend taking advantage of the extras offered by The Vines. We learned how to make empanadas, rode horses into the mountains and saw the sunrise in the Andes. We also took a mountain bike winery tour and spent a day in the vineyards.

The views around the property were breathtaking. We spent our first night by the firepit on our patio, drinking wine and watching the sunset over the Andes. It was beautiful.

The Vines is by far the best property we have stayed in. Location of the property is simply amazing. Views from the villa are jaw dropping, vineyards stretched everywhere right at the foot of Andeans mountains. The villas are super spacious and well equipped with everything your need. During our stay we did a wine tasting tour that was arranged by the hotel, the tour was informative and fun. Staff was extremely polite and helpful, a special dish was prepared by the chef for us as we are vegetarians and was kind enough to give us a little tour of his kitchen. Its a great place for couples as well as for families. Next time when we visit Argentina we would love to stay at this property.

Zen experience!
Aug 2019
I cannot day enough good things about this resort. Besides being ranked in top 25 in the world, it has so much more to offer. The 2BR deluxe villa we stayed in was exceptional. Their service and attention to detail was spot on. The dinner at Siete Fuegos on a wed or sat (only days for the experience) is also a must. Everyone pays attention to your stay and to your itinerary. I am more than pleased with my stay here and will definitely stay again when I return to the Uco Valley region. A highly rated resort which is well deserving of its various accolades.

Incredible place at the foot of the Andes, amazing location and top-knotch service
Apr 2019
One of the biggest surprises of the Uco Valley Wine region in Mendoza Argentina is without a doubt The Vines of Mendoza. This Hotel, Spa & Restaurant resort complex in the heart of hundreds of acres of great Malbeck vineyards can hold it's own amonst any of the luxury establishments I've been to in other countries.

Attractive, geometric architecture and design with an austere, horizontal emphasis serve to highlight the magnificent verticals of the Andes cordillera which are visible from almost every angle of the complex.

The individual bungalows are luxurious, fully equipped apartments, and the small scale but spectacularly located gym makes your morning workout a sensory experience. Friendly and top-knotch guest experience service, from the bellhop to hotel's direction team also help to explain the Vines presence on the Leading Hotels of the World selection.

The incredible Siete Fuegos restuarant and dinng experience (created and supervised by Argentine chef Francis Mallman (Netflix Chef's table seaon 1) deserves it's own review, Hope to get to it later this week!

Well worth the visit in every sense

a wine experience like no other

This Vinyard 'co-op' is amazing. Several hundred privately owned vineyards all maintained by a marvelous professional staff. And a Francis Mellman restaurant too! We got a real education in the varieties of grapes, learned how they are harvested and turned into great wine. Then lunch in the Francis Mellman restaurant with great grilled meats and spectacular wine (what else?)

A fantastic piece of hedonistic heaven
Sep 2018 • Friends
We were there back in September 18 for a few days. The original house they gave us was looking onto the lake and not what we expected from the booking (where was a bit actually at bit ambiguous about exactly what type of house it was) but they sorted it out and gave us a beautiful two room frontal mountain view one that was fantastic. The freak snowfall on the mountains made the place even more magical than it is usually (i had visited previously just for lunch without staying). Staff were as together as one would expect in a place of this standing and I wish I recalled the names so as to compliment then all personally (note to myself - write reviews at the time). Allin all a fantastic experience and winderful place to come back to after a days' winery visiting.
