This plaza needs a bit of TLC. The monument was covered in graffiti and some of the murials were cracked and damaged. Grass a d shrubs were needing attention too.

This is my favorite square of the 5 squares in Mendoza. I love the little squares, the statue in the center, and the dedication to readership.

This is one of the 4 plazas that surround the Plaza Independencia. This park seems to be in the best shape. There is a monument with Spanish tile at one end of the park and a nice fountain.

Enjoy this sunny plaza for a relaxing break to a sightseeing day in Mendoza! Colorful tile work and traditional black iron lights create a fairytale atmosphere.

It is easy to visit all the 5 main plazas in central Mendoza, but this was definitely our favourite. The tiles are absolutely beautiful and it's a great shady spot to have a sit down on a hot day - worth seeking it out.

Very nice weather for our trip to the park with the El Torreon Hotel close by. The park is large and clean.
