My wife and I did back-to-back bike and winery tours with Sergio (one to Lujan de Cuyo and then to Valle de Uco) and both were simply fantastic. Sergio was a fantastic guide, the bikes and equipment were excellent and the wineries that he selected along with the lunches were top notch. If I could give the experiences 10 stars I would! We will definitely book again on our next trip to Mendoza.

Great tour! Sergio is an excellent guide. The cycling did not add much, I would have expected more. Wine tasting and 5 course lunch were excellent. But I do find the cost of this tour very high with what you get for it, we expected more

The tour in its totality was a wonderful experience. Sergio is very knowledgeable about the history of the area and wines. He is very professional. He arrived to pick me up on time and made sure i had my helmet on correctly and gloves ready to go. He provides bottled water and several stops if you need to or just want that perfect picture.
I did a first tour alone in 2017 and when I returned to visit with my familyI in 2018, I booked him again and they loved it. His English is perfect so my family from DC never felt like they were missing out on anything. We had great conversations during our lunch and we all truly enjoyed it. We still talk about it when we get together. I will surely bike again with him when I go back. Thank you Sergio!

This is a long overdue review!
We were travelling around Argentina for our honeymoon in October 2018. We had a car, but wanted to explore the area in a different way and heard the wine and bike tours were a great way to do that.

We chose the Valle De Uco tour, which took in two vineyards along a roughly 20km cycle (flat and quite easy), with a 6 course tasting lunch at the second vineyard. It was a small group of only 4 people, and Sergio was an excellent guide, so friendly and informative and great company at lunch!

We came back tired, extremely well-fed and just a little bit tipsy (we all slept on the drive back!). A superb day out with Sergio! Would definitely recommend!

We had a great day biking with Sergio in the Lujan de Cuyo, visiting the Terrazas and Domaine de Plata wineries across a leisurely bike ride around the vineyards. Sergio is super friendly and knowledgeable, a great host for a day of drinking and eating. Highly recommended.

Why drive when u can ride? Thank you Sergio for a great day. Informative, thoughtful and organized. We didn't feel like driving winery to winery and thought this would be a great way to experience the region. We did an easy 20km run, nothing difficult, flat terrain. The lunch was easily beat we had in this trip. Highly recommend.

An excellent day to 2 bodegas in Luján de Cuyo. Segio, the tour leader, met us at the hotel with very good bikes and helmets and drove us to the start of our tour where we tasted various Chandon champagnes. After that it was a fairly easy 25km bike ride to the next bodega Belasco de Badequano followed by Sergio in his car as backup. We then enjoyed an amazing 5 course lunch with different wines for each course. We would highly recommend this tour, the scenery was stunning and Sergio was eminently polite and good company. He also speaks very good English.

What a fun way to spend the day with my adult daughter in Argentina. Sergio gave us our choice to go to Lujan de Cuyo ($120 US for 5 course lunch and wine pairings) or Uco Vally ($140 US for 6 course lunch and wine pairings). Sergio said Uco was his favorite so that's what we booked and were very happy with his suggestion. Sergio picked us up at our hotel at 9:30. The drive to Uco Valley and view of the Andes was beautiful. We stopped for coffee in a town along the way and reached our first winery, Salentein, around 11. This place is rather "over the top". The entry building is architecturally stunning and contains multiple pieces of art. The second building, where the wine is actually made, is equaly stuning. The first floor overlooks the wine cellar where oak barrels surround a grand piano and concerts are held. The tasting rooms with large stone tables are also impressive. When the tasting is over you leave the cellar via a glass elevator or steel circular staircase. It was bit pretentious for my tastes but interesting nevertheless. When the tour and tasting was completed we mounted the bikes for the 12 mile ride to the next vineyard. The Trek bikes were high quality and comfortable. At Andeluna, our second vineyard, we enjoyed an incredible lunch and excellent wines. This winery was very beautiful. The dining area had an open kitchen, which allowed us to watch the chefs prepare lunch. The food was outstanding and on par with any 5 star restaurant in the US. After an incredible day, we returned to our hotel around 5 pm. The bikes, scenery, wine and food were wonderful, but what made the day most special was Sergio. He is so friendly, knowledgeable and clearly enjoys what he does and meeting people. It would be a mistake to visit this beautiful region of Argentina and not experience the wine and bike tour with Sergio. It was a truly memorable experience.

There is no better way to enjoy the beauty of the Mendoza wine region, with the majestic Andes in the background, than to spend a day with Sergio on his wine and bike tour. It is truly the best of both worlds...visits to select wineries for tastings and a gourmet lunch, along with a refreshing, invigorating, but not too strenuous, bike ride around some of the most beautiful scenery you can imagine. The roads are completely flat, and there are bike trails on a good portion of the route, so it is very manageable with few cars, so good for all levels of rider. And Sergio is a delightful host and guide, carefully tailoring the day to the needs of his guests, and fluent in English and Portuguese along with his native Spanish. I highly recommend this experience.

In order to do our long anticipated bike and wine tour of the Uco Valley, we had to get up early after a late arrival to our hotel in Maípu, and catch a ride with our hotel host to meet Sergio Sanchi at our starting point. It was all worthwhile, as Sergio is a great guide to the area, and the biking, wines, culture and history. The wineries we toured were fascinating and beautifully designed. The food and wines for our lunch on the patio at Andeluna were stellar, as was the company, as Sergio was a consummate host and guide. The biking was fun and easy between the two wineries, too. It was harvest time and we got to see the vineyards in action, a real treat. The only negative was the clouds that mostly obscured the Andes that day and during the next 2 days, but that was beyond Sergio's control. What was in his control worked out wonderfully!

A good friend of ours had taken one of Sergio's tours about an year earlier, and highly recommended him, and we would do the same!

We hope people will soon be able to travel to the Mendoza area again, and enjoy the vineyards by bike with Sergio as we did.
