We spent two weekends staying nearby, Saturday and Sunday there are vendors 5-10, at least in summer, a playground, occasional live music.
We walked through around 1-2 am on a Friday night and there were kids in the playground, couples on benches, very safe.
The Plaza is now under construction so you have to make your way around some work but the town square is still a pleasant place to walk, rest a piece and then perhaps shop at the daily sidewalk vendors that set up in the evenings....More
