Indeed. Coming from a powerhouse, expectations were too high - and not met. Beautiful place but very poor tour, wine tasting and organization. Maybe worth going for the superior wine tasting for a better experience.

Definitely one of the largest wineries with a lot of history. Built in the 1920s there is a ton of old charm. Unfortunately we were not able to catch an English tour but the tour in Spanish gave us the overview. They have a lot...More

A good, detailed tour around a gorgeous winery. Great selection of wines as well. Best part was the staff - we had Antonella on our tour and she was absolutely fantastic and very helpful when we asked questions - very knowledgeable about local wines and...More

Trapiche is a modern, up-to-date winery. We were welcomed at the gate and at reception and our guide (English speaking) was very good. It's interesting as it's so far the only vineyard to have an organic section. They haven't got certification yet (too short a...More

Having cycled a fair way to get here we were told that it was fully-booked for guided groups by the security guard.

I and my wife visited Bodegas Trapiche on 9th, July. The experience was good. The wine tasting was basic level with “entrance level” wines. It was kind of a “mass” tasting. So, we can say that if you a short stay in Mendoza you should...More

We expected this to be a standard tour from a large wine producer - instead the tour was incredibly informative and intimate. Wine was also great, which helped. In particular, our tour guide (Annabella) was fantastic - she was clearly passionate about wine and that...More
