Trapiche is perfectly set up for tours, with the historical machinery preserved. The building and surrounds are very beautiful, and we really enjoyed our visit with Valentina who seamlessly ran a bilingual tour and shared her passion and interest with us. The wines were also amazing - if only we weren't travelling back to Australia we would have bought a case!

We had an amazing service thanks to Camila and the Sommelier Matias. Food, delicious, pairing perfect. A perfect lunch in a Beautiful restaurant in Maipu. Will definitely come back! Thanks very much!

We have started our visit with the vine tour which was very insightful. We have learned a lot about the wine that is produced nowadays as well as about the old processes of wine making from the inception of Trapiche. We would like to thank Maria once again for the attention and the time that she has given to us.

Of the 4 wineries we visited in Maipu this was the worst one. We booked a 30 minute tour of the winery and a 30 minute tasting. Our tour guide Carla only spoke for 10 minutes and quickly rushed us through the tour, and then the wine tasting only lasted 10 minutes and Carla was constantly on her phone not paying the group any attention. It was such a disappointing experience and overall the staff were rude and unhelpful. I won’t be going back to this winery again.

We went there as it was something to do, How can you go to Mendoza and not visit a vineyard. We did this trip including a three course meal.
The thing about a vineyard is unless theya re in the process of harvesting or bottling there isn't much to see. Rows and rows of vines with fruit hanging down does not exactly have a wow factor.
The most part of our tripw as taken up by the meal in which we got to try various wines produced by the vineyard. I have to confess that if you like your wines they keep pouring and pouring. We just tried each of the wines served with each of teh courses, depending on what food you ordered.
I had hoped to be tuckinginto hearty local food but it was not like that at all. Okay taste wise but somewhat pretentious, might have looked okay in a Parisian or London restaurant. But I had to remind myself we were there primarily for the wines. Niot being a wine aficionado all I can say is they tasted fine, my favourite wa sthe sweet dessert wine which was not on the menu but I asked for and the kind serving person let me have some.
Having shown an interest in the wine cellar viewable from teh entrance hall lookingd oiwn through the glass in teh floor, she offered to take us down into ita nd see the stacks and stacks of bottles kept at a regualted temperature.
Would I recommend it? Yes if you like your wines, no if you are like me, only interested in the occasional galss with your meal.

Old and very large winery but did not pay a lot of attention to the individual. Came across as disinterested, tour seemed just another part of doing business. No doubt that they make some amazing wines but tour fell short.

Indeed. Coming from a powerhouse, expectations were too high - and not met. Beautiful place but very poor tour, wine tasting and organization. Maybe worth going for the superior wine tasting for a better experience.

Being from Montreal Canada, this is not the first winery that would come to mind when choosing to visit one in Mendoza… Let's just say that what we get from Trapiche comes from the bottom of the barrel! This said, we were amazed at the quality of their high end wines. Our hostess apologized for the quality of what is sent to Quebec and told us that what we get does not go to barrel, straight to bottle from stainless steel fermentation tanks! So, do go if you are Canadian… You'll not only have a first class wine tour, you'll enjoy tasting truly spectacular wines of the region from one of the oldest wineries. The restored buildings are outstanding as well. We even managed lunch in front of the vineyards before driving off! Hope this review was helpful!

This is a beautiful location for a tour and tasting, the wines were tried were generous and delicious however it was very noisy on site when we visited so we couldn’t here for a lot of the tour. Views and wine made up for it though.

We had a really informative tour in English and then got to taste 3 wines. All for 480 pesos! The vineyard itself is very beautiful. We also enjoyed trying the grapes as they were just about to be harvested.
