We take a tour of the most prominent sites in the city. We visit the Historic Center where we will know the majestic Cathedral Church, the historic Cabildo and the Plaza San Martín. Then, we visited the Jesuit Apple, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000; the “Nueva Córdoba” neighborhood, one of the most dynamic sectors of the city's economic, cultural and recreational life. In its surroundings are the Capuchin Church, a neo-Gothic style building from the mid-twentieth century, the Paseo del Buen Pastor, the Superior Museum of Fine Arts Ferreyra Palace and the Emilio Caraffa Museum of Contemporary Art. Finally, we visit Sarmiento Park, one of the oldest in South America, designed by the French landscape designer Carlos Thays.

The tour is customizable based on traveler preferences.

I did the 'La Hoya Techada del Yuspe' trek. (800 pesos) They picked me up from my hostel. The trek included a big lunch. The views were great. There were waterfalls, and cliffs, and lush green hills. Bring swimmers for this trek. We walked along idyllic streams a lot, and swam in a natural pool above a cool waterfall. And there's a nice diving spot. The hike often turned into a climb, which I found really fun.

Rutur provided some of the most memorable days of our trip to Cordoba. First Cesar Naretto who speaks English very well, took us on an tour of Valle de Punilla and the Rio Pinto starting from La Cumbre down the dirt road from the paragliding launch site then along the river, on to San Marco de las Sierras and ending at Los Terrones at Quebrada de la Luna. Two days later David Alvarez who also is a great English speaker and Naturalist guided us to see Condors at Parque Nacional Quebrada del Condorito. He brought a spotting scope that allowed us to see more than 20 Andean Condors en mass. We watched as they bathed in a pool of water on the cliff opposite from the Balcon Norte which is over the gorge. He provided an an amazing wealth of info on the birds, plants and geology of the park where he is a regular visitor. We cannot say enough of this wonderful outing.
