We arrived fairly late, 5 pm I think, and a guided tour in English was about to start. We normally avoid tours, but this was a good way to get a bit more out of the museum and learn more about the whole Jesuit history in Córdoba. Our guide took us to the church, various parts of the museum (I... More

Definitely a large piece of Argentian or better yet South American, history literally written in the library that is being held in this museum. I would suggest to plan your visit during one of the free guided tours (English and Spanish): which I highly recommend in order to take away an enriched experience. The visits in the morning include the... More

There are two tours a day in English which last 1 hour. One in the morning and one late afternoon. Access to the museum is by tour only. The tour is A$10 which is about 60p.The guide spoke very fast and it was difficult to absorb or even hear what was being said. However, more importantly you get time to... More

I went for a guided tour that only cost 10 pesos. It was well worth it. You get to see a lot of historical artifacts and learn a lot about the Jesuits' time in Argentina. My only reservation was the tour guide who spoke very fast with an accent. So we couldn't understand a lot of what he said. Overall,... More

The Manzana Jesuitica is the central, historical center of Cordoba. Manzana is a strange Spanish word that means both "apple," and also "city block." In this case, the latter meaning is appropriate. A very large, entire city block is taken up by this 17th century collection of buildings, comprising a church, a monestary, a friary, a university, and several institutions... More

This is a Unesco world heritage site. Be sure to take the tour to see the room of the graduates and the library, as well as the courtyard and the church.
