This museum is small, but had many displays showing artifacts, photos, uniforms, etc. We do not speak Spanish, but some of the displays had English translations. And the docents were very willing to answer simple questions (sometimes in English, sometimes in Spanish, and sometimes with universal gesturing!). We were not asked for any money for admission, so I'm hoping it was free admission. Unless this subject matter is a focus for you, you will not spend more than an hour. But it was a very interesting visit.

I came upon this museum by chance while i was looking for my accommodation in Tigre. I was welcomed by a very attractive man, the manager, who happened to be at the door. He spoke English and explained the significance of the historical exhibits, He also told me that a musical concert for students and teachers, was to take place that night. I wandered in the beautiful gardens lit by the September sun and watched a piano lesson in the hall where in the evening I was inspired by the musical talents of the children . It is a very peaceful but active and beautifully kept place. place. As I left with directions from the manager to my B&B, a young school class came in to see and hear about their history.

Quiero saber si cuentan con el listado de prisioneros ingleses que se quedaron en el país. Ya que se que si se quedaron y en mi familia se dice que descendemos de uno de ellos. El apellido es HOWE u HOWES. Gracias!
