The delta of the Rio del Plata is an impossibly diverse and fascinating place. The tributaries and rias are too numerous to count. It would be impossible for a visitor to explore without a guide, and Safari Delta, as others have noted, provides a memorable first rate experience. Our guide, Martin, met us at the Delta station (4-5 blocks from... More

Met Fernando at his booth at the Tren de la Costa train station at noon ( it was right at the end of the platform but we still missed it however Fernando saw us searching and came and found us). Our guide was Tommy, very knowledgable and fun. We got caught in a tremendous downpour in the zodiac but it... More

Can't praise this tour enough! Excellent tour for families, our tour guide Martin made sure we were fine and taken care of all of the time! From water, sunscreen, where to swim, security while at the boat, life jackets, answers and all kind of explanations!!! Do it to escape away for BsAs for a while and spend a great time.... More

We decided to spend a bit more than the regulation 1hr boat trips that run out of Tigre and travelled far into the delta. It was interesting to see the busy waterways near the town but heaven to get away from the noisy rabbles. Our guide Sergio was great - lovely guy and very knowledgeable. A great day out. One... Based om the comments here, we booked safari delta from home and met Fernando at the train station. We had a lovely day. We booked the tour that took us to the second part of the delta, which is the most beautiful part. It is an absolute recommendation to take this tour. Fernando is a very good guide who gives... Forget about 4 wheels, traffic jams, pollution and speed limit signs while you are still in a highway! A river highway! Water taxis, shops on boats and school bus boats.... Yes! You are in Tigre: the River City! Our guide Tomas, who was born and raised in the region, is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about life in the River City who... More

Again, you cant go wrong with tripadvisor recommendations. Everything about Safari Delta was amazing. Fernando booked us a great experience and was easily available beforehand by email and phone (we needed to make last minute changes due to children being sick and all this was easily done). Our guide Tomas greeted us with smiles and was as someone else had... More

Fernando hooks you up from the train station and you think: "this is a tourist trap". Don't bother looking around though, the tour are all operated by big companies, on these standardized touristic floating buses. Not worth it. So just stick with Fernando. Local, amazing guy, great humor, he'll take you around the little channels in a small boat where... More

While visiting Buenos Aires last week, we decided to check out Tigre. Upon getting off the train we met Martin of Safari Delta who did a great job of explaining to us what kind of experience we could have with Safari Delta. We didn't bring much cash with us, so Martin offered to have the owner come by our hotel... More
