My three friends and I joined Martin to kayak around the delta, stay at his amazing home on the river and kayak back the following day. Martin was a really nice man, very knowledgable about the area and made us pizza and gave us a comfy bed for the night. His house is really cool, very secluded. I’d recommend this tour to anyone!…

For my girlfriends birthday I bought her a day on the water in Tigre. We met our guide and headed out for the kayaks. We spent half the day kayaking up the river, looking at the beautiful scenery and wildlife. We stopped for lunch and then travelled back down as the sun set. When we got back to the boat house our guide Martin gave us some snacks, tea and even let us try his Maté. After a few games of table tennis with him we headed home. Martin was amazing and so friendly all day we found it hard to leave him. Great experience! …

One of the highlights of my South America trip. Easy to get to via train from Buenos Aires, safe, cheap and clean hour long train ride. Martin met me at the station, and the kayak outfitter is a boat ride away. The facilities were excellent, as was the equipment. Beautiful half day on the water, I found myself wishing I scheduled a whole day trip. Martin was prompt in responding and scheduling, and was a great guide. Stay in town and tour Tigre before returning to B.A. A must do for your trip to Buenos Aires.…

We had such a great time doing the half day kayaking in Tigre - really recommend it as a day trip to experience something other than the hustle bustle of Buenos Aires. Out on the Tigre the silence and natural beauty is breathtaking. Martin was a really knowledgable host, a great instructor of kayaking and all round nice and friendly guy. You don't need to be experienced at kayaking to do this, it's not overly strenuous, and Martin can also take some great action photos for you and email them through.…

We are experienced sea kayakers, so we wanted a decent day's paddle on the Panrana delta while also seeing the area. Martin met us at Tigre train station and we were taken out to the kayaking base about 5 minutes by boat, operated by three brothers. This is an ideal place to change, get kitted out and plan the trip. Martin customised the day to take account of our kayak experience, with two options depending on how we were feeling at lunchtime. Martin's English is excellent and he planned a comfortable and safe trip. The kayaks provided are GRP day tourers. At first sight, they did not look too flash, but they were light, stable and somewhat quicker than they first seemed! Paddling wise, the water is flat and mostly easy. However when power boats pass by, they can create a big wake which reflects off any hard bank features which could potentially cause a capsize for people new to kayaking. However Martin was usually very alert to this potential and gave good advice for positioning the kayaks. We had an excellent day and recommend this activity. Martin was very friendly and knowledgeable, more like paddling with your mate from Argentina than going on a guided tour. We ended the day with mate and a good chat with the 3 brothers before the quick ride back to the station as the sun went down.…
