My three friends and I joined Martin to kayak around the delta, stay at his amazing home on the river and kayak back the following day. Martin was a really nice man, very knowledgable about the area and made us pizza and gave us a comfy bed for the night. His house is really cool, very secluded. I’d recommend this tour to anyone!

We did a halfday paddling tour, which was a nice way of getting out of the city and enjoy the delta. Martin (the guide) was helpful and very hospitable. Good cakes and mate!

Martin, our tour guide and the owner of the company, was simply first-class. We sent him an e-mail and he responded promptly with a brief form to fill out, and then he coordinated a meeting place at the Tigre train station to begin our journey. He took us via motorboat to his home to change and pick up the kayaks, and from there we began our excursion. We went on a 2 hour kayaking trip throughout the delta region and he pointed out the unique architecture of the homes, explained to us the history of the region, and answered all of our questions about life in Argentina more broadly. He was extremely accommodating and let us decide a comfortable pace for the kayak trip, so really all skill levels are welcome. Martin spoke excellent English and after our tour, he brought us back to his home where he graciously offered us tea and biscuits and the opportunity to mingle with some of his friends. It was a perfect day trip from Buenos Aires, and we'd suggest that anybody with a free day/half-day make the short trip to Tigre and spend some time on the delta with Martin. He truly embodies a dedication to hospitality and excellent service.

One of the highlights of my South America trip. Easy to get to via train from Buenos Aires, safe, cheap and clean hour long train ride. Martin met me at the station, and the kayak outfitter is a boat ride away. The facilities were excellent, as was the equipment. Beautiful half day on the water, I found myself wishing I scheduled a whole day trip. Martin was prompt in responding and scheduling, and was a great guide. Stay in town and tour Tigre before returning to B.A. A must do for your trip to Buenos Aires.

We did a half-day kayak trip with Martin. He speaks good English and is extremely well informed about the delta and the surroundings. From the time he picked us up at the station till the time he dropped us back, it was fun all along. He took different routes while going to the island where he lives and while coming back, giving us a great opportunity to see different sceneries. He offered us tea/cake at his place before the kayaking. The explanations for the kayaking itself were excellent and we felt very confident and safe in his company. If you're visiting the Tigre delta then a trip with Martin is a must.

We were a group of 6 from various countries for this kayak tour. We took the train in from Buenos Aires and met Martín, our excellent guide, at the station. What luck to have such a perfect day for this kayak tour of the Paraná delta. The boat ride to the island was great, the kayaks were pretty stable, and the level of activity I'd classify as easy-to-moderate, but this may depend on your experience with kayaking and/or whether you are in a one- or two-person kayak. Martín was really informative. We had mate, juice, and facturas when we returned to the island with our kayaks. Martín even brought out a book on the history of Tigre which showed the progression of the delta's islands and a map showing us where we toured as well as other areas of Tigre, Isla Martín Garcia, and Uruguay which we did not see during the tour. It's amazing just how large the delta is and how much the islands have "grown" due to the sediment of the rivers. We had a great time with Martín. The delta is such a beautiful and peaceful place to explore by kayak. Thank you so much for everything, Martín!

Martin is a wonderful guide to the Tigre delta. He is well organized, knowledgeable and fun. He reminded this 60+ couple how to kayak efficiently and took great care of us. We saw herons and egrets and learned about the Tigre way of life. A great day - our best in this wonderful town.

Sudeste, and especially Martin as a guide, can be highly recommended for a nice and interesting kayaking tour in the Tigre delta!

We, a group of five friends, were looking for an outdoor adventure as we had explored Buenos Aires the days before.
An hour's train ride from Buenos Aires, the Parana river and the Tigre delta offer a great opportunity to experience the Argentinian nature.
During our four-hour-trip, Martin proved to be an excellent guide - for kayaking and safety, as well as for history, geography and wildlife.
He really made an effort to show us the local birds (and other animals) and gave us quite a deep insight into the area's history and geography.

I would do this tour anytime again. Sudeste can be highly recommended!

We had a great time kayaking through Tigre with Martin. Martin is a wonderful guide, the prices were more than reasonable, and we loved being able to explore Tigre via kayak.

The trip went off without a hitch. By the time we arrived at Tigre station, Martin was ready to pick us up. We traveled by motor boat to his house where he showed us a few facts about the delta. Then we packed up and readied ourselves for the tour. We chose an intermediate level path, but from what I understand Martin had plenty of options for less strenuous trips.

The river delta was beautiful and peaceful and we loved taking in the sights that Tigre had to offer. After kayaking, we headed back to Martin's house where we drank mate and ate homemade bread and honey. At the end of the night, Martin made sure that we made it back to train station safely and that all our needs were met.

A word of advice for prospective travelers: I would recommend bringing a set of dry clothes to wear after kayaking. Although Martin's kayaks were equipped with skirts to prevent water from entering the boat, I still managed to get wet and was kicking myself for not bringing a dry pair of pants. All in all though, it was an amazing experience!
