This is a very good place for kids. This is a not a tourist attraction. You go here with children otherwise give it a miss.

The tour we were taking mentioned that it was the largest of its kind in South America. However, from the outside it looked pretty deserted and most of the rides did not seem in operation.

This place brings back a lot of God old fun memories. I was there the week they opened it with my family. I've been in it with my friends and even with some of my students. I haven't been here in a while but I'm sure it's as good fun as it's always been. It's not a cheap place but I suppose it's affordable and it's worth it. You can buy different types of passes: regular, skip the line, monthly, etc. Just ask at the counter.
The downside is that there are very long queues, specially in summer. I recommend that you east outside and then go into the park; the food is expensive. My friends and I used to go to the nearby McDonald's before going in. Enjoy the rollercoasters, climb walls, have fun at the laser shot experience or even go bungee jumping. This amusement park had it all.

It's a small amusement park, which has no great rides. Few trees. It is very warm in summer. Pretty dirty. There are a lot of people there, long lines to board rides, that are not justified. The worst thing is the smell of urine in the water rides. Disgusting. Not recommended. Leaves much to be desired.

After almost 20 years of having parque de la costa around I can honestly say I'm pissed. They open one new attraction every decade or so, and the theme park pales in comparison to a mediocre US park. Only two actual rollercoaster, and just 2-4 thrill rides (depending on your level of adrenaline tolerance)
Since I love rollercoasters more than I love my mother, I keep going, but I wish that having the monopoly of the whole thing would make them less greedy and more prone to be not just the only one. but a great one

Not much thrill here other than you may actually be slung off one of the rides, little maintenance, those seeking cliff hanging thrills will get it.. if you actually want to risk your life.

Try to go in a day of the week cause during the weekend you won't have much time to enjoy many games. There's crazy games, a good place to go with one or two friends or even your girlfriend. A place you can't miss if you go to baires

I don't like PArque de la Costa but if you keep walking by the borderwalk on the other bank you will reach this 1920's fantastic building. There is an art museum in it which represents respectably the history of Argentine art . The building has been refurbished and once again has its splendid architecture to show. Then walk and stand at the fabulous terrace that overlooks the river .You will have a magnificent and true view of the Tigre atmosphere and with some imagination go back to the 1930's where great New Year balls took place and many new love stories started ( just like my parents').

Many of the rides were under maintenance and were not working, the rest was pretty poor. There are many much better attractions in the Tigre, rather than this park.

If you live in Buenos Aires, this is a reasonably good amusement park to take your kids to.
If you are visiting BA with kids, and they do not know of the existence of this place, I would keep it that way.
Is not bad, but it is far from any amusement park in North America or the EU.
However, if you make it all the way to the park, you would like to go to the fruit market ("mercado de frutos") and have sth to drink or eat by the river.
