This place is considered a classic among tourists. The landscape is really nice; one can see the city, other hills and quarries from here. In despite these positive features, the rock is a complete failure; it is a fake one since the original fell down...More

Tandil is a very quiet small town South West of Capital Federal. we went with backpacks and a pair of very good shoes. Great to walk, to see places that they look that sometimes they got stuck in time ( pueblos pequenos)

This is an easy short hike and gives you great views of Tandil. But the fame that this place has of the "piedra movediza" fell decades ago, and the current reproduced rock is hollow. So go for the views, the rock was a disappointment.
